flourgirl, these are a great idea,
li'l_p love the way you have attached the label to the bag, thanks for sharing might just have to try attaching mine the same way this year.
The label is slipped inside the bag, so no gluing required. The gingerbread man is sealed into his own cello packet just to keep him nice and fresh, too!0 -

Can anyone give me some advise please? I've just bought some MDF plaques to make door signs for my daughter and as gifts for family at christmas. Does anyone know what sort of paint is best to use? I was thinking of using emulsion tester pots and then varnishing. Would this be ok do you think? xx
Edit: oh and my bits from Grafton Crafts arrived yesterday so I can start making my cards and sweet bags. Hopefully will get to set up a blog this weekend! Woohoo!
And good luck Bitsy!0 -

Yes, emulsion paint with varnish will work fine. Acrylic paint would be my choice but no point in additional expense if you already have the tester pots.I don't want to make money, I just want to be wonderfulMarilyn Monroe0 -
I use tester pots when painting canvases, or before I have painted those horrible ceiling tiles with the patterns on painted them lilac then blu-tacked above my bed. Trust me looks better than sounds as we move every 2yrs or 10months the last one not worth painting walls so paint those instead for a splash of colour.
Also I have picked up kids acrylic paints quite cheaply before. Think it was from Wilkinsons.

Thanks! Would a Sharpie be ok to do the writing or do I need to buy a paint pen or something? Wasn't sure if a Sharpie would "bleed"0
