im not sure what others use but i used wrapping paper for some of mine and i bought some craft paper in poundland 12 different sheets for £1 and i got 2 calendars out of each sheet. tbh i think my wrapping paper was a bit thin but if you use a good quality wrapping paper i think it will be nice.

thanks wookeyhole1 , might take a trip to the poundshop aswell as using wrapping paper.
Ladsmadd Wrapping paper should be fine . Don't use a wet glue with it though or it will go horrid.

thanks for the tip craftygranny, sorry silly question:o what should i use is tape ok, or another type of glue? thanks.

I have been working on this idea for a couple of days and wasn't really sure about the packaging but I think it looks ok. The poem is my own creation so if you think its naff..... tough... lol.... Its short and sweet and fits the labels :) The Glowsticks are from Poundland and you get 25 per tube, I have added a piece of card to the pretzel bag just to give a bit of strength and support to the glow sticks. The labels are cut with nesties and the fairy is clip art resized to fit the smallest nestie (about 1.5 inches)

I have made this tonight (will be the first of many!).

I saw the idea on a thread somewhere, and have seen them across the likes of 'organized christmas', etc. I bought a box of 30 gingerbread men for 99p today and set to:

li'l_p love the way you have attached the label to the bag, thanks for sharing might just have to try attaching mine the same way this year.

OK those of you who use Picnik how do you create a label without using your own pictures??? I've had a look just and I can't see how to use it.
<sigh> I am soooooo useless when it comes to 'puters and websites :(

Not sure what you mean by label but for a design for me that I can cut out and stick onto something later.

    Start at the home page
Click Collage ( you get a black grid)
Left hand side just half way down - black square click on this to change colour.
Click done near top right when colour selected.
Now you have an edit tab at the top click here.
Click resize make the shape short or fat etc.
    Click on create.
If you like round corners click on frames roundness is at the very bottom. If you want a circle drag the corner radius slider to the right.
Click back onto stickers and that is where you can start adding your detail.
Once you have selected an image you can move it and resize it.
If you right click on the image a drop down menu appears on there ins duplicate shape (basically copy and paste) so you don't have to worry about getting each image the same as before.

Lots more features you can do add text etc. But unfortunately it keeps making my computer slow/crash so I am not enjoying it much.
