:T thats fab,its lucky i do this as a full time thing because if i had of been doing it 1.5 years ago before i left for maternity leave there would have been no chance of me getting anything done.i don't have any crafty family members that could help me, they would just end up making a mess of things and im a bit of a perfectionist :)
  • thanks bitsy beans, im going to have a look what i can get cheap on ebay lol ive already been through all the kids craft stuff to see what we have in the way of things to stick on to make cards and tops for the sweetie bags, still not sure what size cello bags to get though, if anyone can tell me what size they use that would be great

  • Hollie I'll be your assistant :D
I'm in terrible need of a work from home job, that's NOT call-centre style, especially with a 10 week old baby ... But most work from home jobs are scams online *sigh* :(

Helloooooo, im another lurker on the thread and have decided to come out of the shadows as i need other peoples opinions!

I'm an avid crafter and usually make jewellery and cards but after looking at what you've all been making I couldnt help having a go (a feeling im sure your all familiar with;) )

Anyway am making my 11 year old niece a pamper box for christmas using some of your lovely ideas and as i was a bit worried that it was a bit grown up have made some lolly flowers to go in as decoration round the flannel cupcake etc and need someone to tell me if they are any good as im just to close to the project to be objectional anymore :( oh please ignore the colours these were just practice ones from some spare paper i had, proper ones would be made with some thin card

eeek sorry this pic is HUGE!! Like others before me I just cant figure out how to make it smaller :'( (yayyyy did it)

Thank you very much Tranmererovers, i got the origami instructions from this lady

    http://u-handbag.typepad.com/uhandblog/2008/05/simple-origami.html

and when i finished cut a tiny hole in the bottom to push the stick of the lolly through, im thinking of using the same design to make a childrens christmas table decoration and mixing in a bit of replica greenery etc, am trying (very late!) to find a small local craft fair, so if I can get into one I might try selling them as table decorations and also individually in boxes (will pop some pics up if they look half decent and i can figure out the whole resizing thing!)

  • hello crafters :)

I spent most of yesterday afternoon reading this thread and love what's here :) I'm interested in making some cupcake socks but didn't save any links to cases yesterday and can't face looking through 86 pages again! has anyone saved any links or got any recommendations?

    thanks :)
