Many huge thanks to Flyingpig without whom I'd not be doing these bags so quick as she created the back ground for me :D

I've done 8 bags and I am now calling it a night!

Upsy - the ribbon is just fabric ribbon (IYSWIM) you can buy it in varying thicknesses from most haberdashery shops/Hobbycraft etc.
I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knife :D Louise Brooks

I wish I could take credit for the idea but sadly not - all Flyingpigs ideas again :o

Mind you these cartons are an absolute doddle to put together so would be easy to put other sweets etc in them, not just for Christmas but all year round.

thanks to original poster: I ordered them for £4, but forgot to add the 20% code at checkout, and delivery was given as 2-4 weeks. Found the code, cancelled original order, and reordered them for £3.20. Delivery now given as 4-10 November 2010!

Just soaking some white pipe cleaners in tea to stain them brown for antlers :D Picked up 4 brown flannels to make reindeer (only 59p each and egyptian cotton :)) so looking forward to having a play at that.

I picked up some boxes of the mini candy canes (40 per box) in Poundland, but am now looking for inspiration for what to do with them! I initially thought about making a tiny version of the mice to hang on the tree, but I don't think that will work as they are too small and because of the cellophane wrapper. Has anyone any great ideas?
