Macpep - I have ordered everything except the cello bags...soo much choice, which ones did you go for may I ask? Want to get some of the pretzel bags too, but the seller seems to be away until next Monday...how dare she have half-term away!!! :rotfl:I have managed to get bags for A6/C6 cards (50 for £1), can I use them for the Reindeer poo as well? They are a bit large, but I will cut them down. If I had a bag sealer I could have made two out of each bag, very MSE! :D!!

    Hi Keiss

I have the large cello cones from last year which I used for snowman soup however, I have ordered these small cones this year as well as these square cello bags and the pretzel bags, am the same as you, seller is away until 2nd and that's the ones I really want!!! I know as soon as my punches arrive, I will start (havn' t even booked a stall yet) :rotfl:but I am confident I will sell

Can anyone tell me if its special card you use for the bag toppers and circles/scalloped circles? My 9 year old has been crafty for as long as I can remember and has loads of glittery card/coloured and plain white card? I have made a few bag toppers myself on the pc and I think they look good, took me all day in work today to do them:rotfl: penguin poop & snowman soup (made for square bags) if anyone wants a copy

hi everyone, right, here we are, a tutorial for making those little kitkat wrappers. Sorry its taken me so long (getting Take That tickets this morning!!! Oh Yes!!) :)

Here is what you will need -

2 finger Kit Kat, paper, double sided tape, sticky dots, embellishments and a white pen

    29102010268.jpg

Take the outer red wrapper off of the kit kat

    29102010269.jpg

Take a scrap of paper and measure it around the kit kat. if it helps, I have been doing a piece of A4 paper, folded lengthways down the middle, then each piece cut into 3 equal pieces. This is more than adequate.

    29102010270.jpg

Then, place the kit kat "upside down" on the paper (so the bottom of the kitkat is facing you), place some double sided taped along the top edge, as close to the edge as you can

    29102010271.jpg

Pull tightly around the kitkat and stick together, as neatly as possible. putting the tape close to the edge will help with this

    29102010273.jpg

Then, using the sticky dots, or double sided tape, or glue, whichever you prefer (ive used sticky dots from wilkos in the picture as they are clear and flat) stick your embellishment onto the front of the wrapper

    29102010274.jpg

Finally, using a white gel pen, draw little stitch marks around the outside and add little stars

    29102010275.jpg

There you go, finished!! How easy is that??

I do a poem for both:-

    Snowman Poop

I've heard that you've been naughty
    Now listen here's the scoop
I'm running low on coal this year
    So you get Snowman Poop

Reindeer Poop (A bit long winded)

I woke up when I heard Santa call....
"Now dash away, dash away, dash away all"
I ran to the lawn in the snowy white drifts
Those nasty reindeer had left 'little gifts'

I got an old shovel and started to scoop
Neat little piles of 'reindeer poop'
To throw them away seemed such a waste
So I saved them to give you a little taste

I finished my task, which took quite a while
Then Santa passed by me and sheepishly smiled
I heard him say as he rose to the sky
They may not be potty trained buy boy they can fly!

Bought the papercraft mag today for the free punch, managed to get a holly /berries one only to realise it really is just too small a punched shape & to top it off I have since lost said punch!
Heavens knows where, no doubt it will surface so tomorrow I plan to go to hobbycraft to see if they have table confetti in, otherwise ebay for me.

I can't make cards to save myself (sewing and crochet are my 'vices') but I've really enjoyed all your lovely makes on this thread and I'm going to try some poop 'n soup packs.

Living in very rural South West Scotland I thought I would have to order some materials online but I'm down in Hertfordshire visiting my daughter and grandchildren for a week and couldn't believe it when I came across 'The Range' - as seen on this thread - in Stevenage. It only opened for the first time today and I got some goodies, including 50 cello bags for £1 and a white Signo pen also £1.

Thanks to all for sharing! :T
  • Hubby brought home some unwanted keys from work today so I have made 12 santa keys with the newish ones - the others I need to try and clean with something before I can package them.

After a lot of faffing with the sizes, I've made my first Snowman soup :) Big mistake opening the bag of mini marshmallows though as I had to do a taste test :)

I've also wrapped 3 of the Aldi lollies but need to decorate still so i am going shopping for suitable embellishments tomorrow :)
It's easier to get forgiveness than to ask permission ;)
