Are these pens online like ebay or amzon any where? Fantastic idea!flyingpig58 wrote: »I'm no great shakes when it comes to drawing snowmen but I thought I would make a couple of snowman soup mugs for Christmas Eve.
I've used these pens £2.99 each from Hobbycrafts and the mugs were 3 in a pack for a pound from Poundworld. You have to leave to dry for abour 24hr and then put in the oven for 40mins - but full instructions are on the pens. They should be dishwasher proof after that ...... fingers crossed.0 -
mummyslittleboy- thanks for the advice!
I have already started a list! And top of it is an alphabet and the labels (nestabilities..is that right??)
Question- does the big shot take dies from any machine?? I find it all a bit confussing!! lol. some of them are soooo expensive!! I can only dream of getting those ones! hoping the show which is here on the 13th will have some!
plus my mum has some for the old sizzix machine! so if the big shot takes them... HAPPY DAYS!!
I have some original dies that I use on the big shot as well they work fine.
Check this website they have quite a few dies reduced in price.

CT when I made my Tree Decorations I stuck the loop of ribbon to the back of the scalloped card then stuck the mint ontop of that then a scalloped circle as a backing piece. I also did some with the chocolate coins sandwiched between the scallops instead of a mint.0

Here is a photo of the Countdown Calendar my 7 year old grandaughter made yesterday, she did all the cutting and sticking apart from I stuck the SLEEPS letters on and cut the numbers out. She absolutely loves making things, and makes loads of mess, but the end results are usually worth it.0

Flourgirl- That calendar your grandaughter made is great! My attempts look poor in comparison!0

I love the calenders but I need to ask how you get the corners so neat??? Where do you get the beer mats from please???0

Kelly-Lou, I think most of the ladies 'acquire' their beer mats from the local pub ... Courtesy of their hubbies
As for the corners, ask FlyingPig, she is the queen of Beer Mat Calendars~Ryan James - 25th August 2010~

You'll need a corner rounder, a basic one will do just for paper/cardstck BUT if like me you use mountboard cut down they a more heavy duty rounder is required.0
