Setting my stall up for the Take That ticket frenzy......
Good morning all. Not read for a few days properly so will try & catch up later however I did spy the Sizzix Boutique in the Range for £19.99 on Wed. Not sure if that is a bargain or not.0 -

I want to make some reindeer and snowman poop, what size bags would I need or could anyone recommend a good ebay seller?x
I can't recommend an ebay seller but someone mentioned the Works have 50 Card Wallets for 99p (basically clear plastic cello bags I think) - whilst I need to purchase some for my cards I did wonder about using then for Reindeer food/poop etc (have abandoned the idea of cutting out boxes by hand, it's just too much trouble).

As I posted on another thread, I have now found the flannel reindeer poem I was looking fo. A number of people have asked me for it, so here it is
Everyone loves this time of year,
All the laughter and good cheer,
A season that is full of hope,
And a reindeer that’s a flannel and a bar of soap!
Am now packing like mad for school fair. Can anyone let me have a copy of the poem for the cookie cutters?0 -
Thanks Bitsy Beans, we dont have a works here (NI) but I saw some of those card holder things on ebay so will get them, wasnt sure if they would be suitable for food iyswim but if others are using them im happy to as well lol.
Im going today to buy all my supplies for reindeer poop, snowman soup, snowman poop, the terrys choc orange reindeer and the little tea bag cards.
Speaking of the tea bag cards I found a box of chocolate mints yesterday in poundstretcher for £2.99, so I bought them, wish I had waited tho BnM have a box almost twice as big and for only £1.99!
Im also hoping to find a wooden advent calender in Tesco today as well, mine wont be anywhere near as good as Flyingpigs obviously but its given me inspiration lol. xMummy to Leeland 5, Lakota 4, Lennox 1 and expecting non id twins March 2011.0 -

Before you go jumping in and buying just any dies can I suggest stop make a list of what you want to make and then buy the dies you need I rushed out and bought loads and never used them however my box die that I bought a couple of weeks ago was well worth the money and so was the alphabet as have used them the most, sizzix have a clearance section on there web site it might be worth you looking thereIf you buy any of the bigz dies you will need the extended cutting plates as well.
I am sure you will have loads of fun playing with it:D:jmember of the thrifty gifty 2011 :j0 -
mummyslittleboy- thanks for the advice!
I have already started a list! And top of it is an alphabet and the labels (nestabilities..is that right??)
Question- does the big shot take dies from any machine?? I find it all a bit confussing!! lol. some of them are soooo expensive!! I can only dream of getting those ones! hoping the show which is here on the 13th will have some!
plus my mum has some for the old sizzix machine! so if the big shot takes them... HAPPY DAYS!!- Winners make things happen, losers let things happen -:j0 -

Hi for the labels I use the nestabilities number 8 which in the end I could only get of ebay as everywhere had sold and couldn't guarantee they can get them
The old sizzix dies should work fine in the big shot, you can use a few different dies in the big shot but to check which ones you would be best asking craftyfairies as I am not sure of all the ones you can and can't use in it and she knows everything there is to know about die cutting!!!
Goodluck with it!!:jmember of the thrifty gifty 2011 :j0 -
