Thanks Sammy. I'd heard everything does sell eventually. I've got so many bits and pieces to sell it's frightening. I will have a look at the turbo lister at some point, but don't want to run before I can walk :D

I've got some 'watchers' today so maybe my stuff will go after all. If I'm buying, I don't usually put a bid on until the last minute either.

I've got a couple of expensive(ish) dresses but want to borrow my friend's dressmaking dummy to photograph them so that will have to wait for a bit.

Tenmah, can she stick it up with gaffa tape for the time being until she can afford to get it fixed? If it's not electric then she should be able to get a replacement from a scrapyard and fit it herself, I don't think it's hard to do.

It's looking like I wont get a Glastonbury ticket, I've been refreshing for nearly three and a half hours, I've made it into the queue three times now but the other two I was booted off again. And they're close to selling out :(
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

Ames, that'll be a shame if you can't get one, especially after you've spent so long queueing.
Afternoon all, I was up at 8 and out jogging (without my alarm I might add) and spent some of the morning cleaning, read my book and I'm now on a reading for uni ....the JOYS of student life!

  • OMFG!!! I just grabbed a handfull of pasta out of a huge bag of the stuff I've got that was nearly empty and then thought "Why am I getting this stuff out by hand? There's hardly any of it left, I'll just tip it out." I'm glad I did because when I turned the bag the right way up again, there was an huge spider inside the bag!

I'm too soft for my own good so it's a spider currently living in my bin (which has a lid that locks shut).

I once found one, very much alive, that had set up home in a bag of Ready Brek :eek::eek: He was covered in white flakes, as were all the webs. It all looked very odd

:rotfl: I wish I'd seen that, I'd probably have been too busy laughing to be scared. The worst bit is, I had to eat the pasta afterwards! I know the boiling water will have killed anything lurking in there, but I still feel a little sick now.
