What happened to the Sabbath being a day of rest Nana Sam? Does that not apply if you're self-employed?

Hi All - can any of you clever people tell me why a bruise should come up "just like that" on the back of my hand. I burnt my hand on Saturday evening and have a thin burn mark which a colleague commented on. Literally two minutes later she said to me where has the other mark come from, what mark I said and when I looked I have a bruise the size of a 50p piece and quite purple!!! Billie xx

Not if your self employed Suzy.....it will get better...I am a victim of my own success at the minute so you will not find me complaining. Its been nice to sit here quietly and just do accounts all day with a glass of wine in hand instead of running around like a mad thing.

    Thats starts again tomorrow:eek:

And I feel so much better having had 3 cracking nights sleep!

Right off out to get more wine

No idea Billie, but I have bruises that come up for no reason - at least I can never remember hitting myself or bumping into something. It's a standing joke in my house now..... But they are usually greenish/yellow which means that they are quite old by the time I notice them. A bruise is a bleed into the surrounding tissue and a purple one is usually quite fresh. Are you taking any medication that would make your blood thinner? Any steriods? Did you knock your hand when you burnt it - maybe flinching from the hot source - that you did not notice because the burn was more painful?

Well my first item has just sold on eBay for the princely sum of £1.24 (plus £1.00 for p&p).

What the fook do I do now? Presumably I need to wait until payment clears but how will I know when this has happened?

when they have paid Suzy, you'll get an email from Paypal.

Not sure about bruises but I feel as if I've bumped my forehead right on the hairline. I feel like there should be a big bruise but there is a tiny scratch. Haven't a clue what I've done!
