Well done Lozza and for the £800 orders - wow!
I was going to offer my customers a free gift if they spent over £20 on C16 as that is the brochure that includes the free gift guide. My free gift will probably be bubble bath or moisturiser of some kind, does that seem a bit stingy?
I don't really have any big spend customers so I'm hoping the ones that normally spend £10 will spend more and the ones who spend around £15 will get a free gift.
What has everyone else done?
Thanks hun - can't believe how well we did in the end!
Nope not stingy at all - thats what I usually give away, only used perfumes as we had some in that we'd gotten cheap from HT clearance that we would have sold at the carboot had we done one lol. You could give the same item to every customer, or just pick and choose depending on what that customer likes - bubble bath for one, body moisturiser for another (I think the xmas one looks really lovely and is good value too) etc.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -
(((((((((((((((((((((MissyTheCat, Lucyclare, ChasingSunshine))))))))))))))))))))))))) to you all and anyone else that needs it! I did Cosmic Ordering and wish I hadn't! All I wanted was DH's money paid back to him that we were owed, and instead we have been hit with bill after bill and bad luck!
Saying that have picked up another order from workfrom my Manager. She asked me to bring a book in and has ordered 3 items and paid me up front. She said she didn't want to buy from the office rep as she pressurises everyone to buy from her each campaign, even if they don't want to. That is one thing I don't do! I always say to all my customers, I don't mind if you don't order, I will keep putting a book through your letterbox until you tell me to stop.

if you haven't ordered any brochures, Avon will send you a book for 55p. You can actually send it back if you get sent it, reason code, not ordered, delivered and charged.0 -

Hi all,

Just sorted out my Facebook account and have requested some of you that I could find, apoligies if I have not requested you its not intentional. My account is Avon Romford if anyone wants to add me.
I done an Avon party on Friday and had £175 worth of orders and sold £43 from my stash box. Have a stall at the gym tomorrow night and the dance class all took a book home last week and should return them tomorrow so fingers crossed for some new customers!

ah right! What happens is they are all one thread, but when they get too long, we close them and open a new one.
And we link to the old one as there is always lots of helpful hints and tips on them, so people can read back.0 -

What frustrates me more is that she lives just across the road from me and i can see her house from my upstairs window. funny how when i was knocking on the door the living room light was on and blinds open yet by the time i got across the road and went upstairs they had been shut! grrrrr. so i put a note through the door saying very politely, i have tried to deliver several times 'but seem to be missing you' so please could you give me a call to let me know when is convenient or pop across the road.... still waiting... the worst thing is she was great on the first order and she has spent like £30 each time on anew products so i really dont want to let go of her that easy. hmmm.
also, one of my customers has asked about a 'deep clean face wash for men'. i can only find this as a free gift in C16 if you buy the mens EDT for £6 but she doesnt want an EDT. However the RRP of the scrub is £3 so i was thinking just to please the customer i would order the EDT and then sell the scrub at £3 (therefore paying £3 for the EDT which i can use for a gift). is that morally ok?
Check in HT I'm sure they had that mens face scrub in the back bit. I almost ordered it from there for my DH then noticed the EDT offer so got him both - just a thought0
