~Avon Hints & Tips (Part 6) ~

Morning all. Hope you're all well.
I'm not feeling it at the moment Thinking that its not the right time for me to be doing Avon... I had 1 week left of c.1 - the short campaigns are doing me no favours what so ever, only got my delivery yesterday and as they are f&f orders they have arranged to meet with me over the next week or so and none of them order from the next book before they have had their last order so I have no chance really. Dont think I can hit MOV even at the lowered amount.
I was awake for hours last night for the 4th night in a row worrying about how I'm going to keep it up over the next few months until I've had the baby and recovered etc.
My stall is next week and I dont think I'll be able to do it. I am disappointed because I have spent money on flyers etc and bought in LOADS of stock, including a bumper box which cant be returned once opened which I have already done. Also really worried about telling the organisers that I dont think I can do it.
Trying to find out more about this f&f thing with no min order but cant find the posts at the moment. Maybe I could swap to that for a few months seeing as I only do f&f anyway. Oh I dont know

Bug hug coming your way chasingsunshine - put yourself and baby first

I've got 2 weeks for C1 but we've got too much snow to do anything, I'm thinking of just knocking on the regulars doors and asking if they want anything before xmas as I don't fancy trying to find books on doorsteps under the snow!

Anyone else got any ideas for what to do in this weather?

Heylo ladies! Just wondered... the supply issues list for c17-c18 says that the shower radio (page 32 of c18) is not going to be supplied with c18. On my order bit online, it only has the yellow dot. I have had 2 red crosses, one being the insence and 1 being the biscuit tray and mug set, neither of those matter too much as one customer already knows and the other one will understand! but i just wondered if the yellow dot means i MAY still get the shower radio? Had a faaaaaaaaaaaabulos c18, with over £400 of orders BUT i have a lot of yellow dots so i HOPE i get most or all of it! lol

Yellow dots mean it MIGHT come - most of my yellow dots turn up.

Hi, I've got more cards coming than customers too, for some reason! Was going to offer to send you some too, but see you're going to try to sort it out with your SL. Let me know if you need any posting.

Just checked my invoice for C18. The stock situation isn't half as bad as I'd expected, as had loads of yellow dots and a couple of red crosses when I ordered. There's only one thing not coming at all - the biscuit tray and mug set, and another couple of items which are delayed, which are for myself and my mum, so at least I don't need to disappoint many customers!

Ah, sorry you're struggling CS! But as someone else said, you have to put you and your baby first!. If you really don't feel you can do the stall, then let them know, I'm sure they'll understand! You certainly don't want to be lying awake worrying at this time. Look after yourself! Sending you a big hug. x

Sorry you're finding it hard at the moment but you have to do what's best for you.

I think the posts just covered the fact that you can order below mov and still get free delivery. If you don't order brochures you get sent a single one at 55p, though it is returnable. You can bump your order up if you're only a bit below mov and then return those bits, so you'll earn a bit of something to help cover your brochure costs, as obviously one brochure won't be enough unless you only order for yourself. I love the fact that we still get the reduced HT prices, even if you order nothing from the brochures. If I ever stopped avon then I know I'd still place small orders for myself just to get bits cheap from HT lol.

I had absolutely loads of red crosses and yellow dots on my order but when it came it was all there including the shower radio ) so fingers crossed for you

sorry you are feeling so crap at present, I have been doing F&F for the past two years. I honestly can't remember what the minimum order is but I can have a look back on my invoices if it will help ? I have not had a very good C18 but am due to take on some territory in January

Well I had a call from the ASM last night lol the other rep had spotted some of my books in my road and called her to complain - so I politely pointed out that I have infact requested new roads and the ones I had been allocated were industrial areas! But no-one had done anything. Also that the lady in question has not recanvassed my road for a while and I know areas in town where they drop books but twice in a row have failed to collect the orders (and books!) leaving some slightly annoyed customers!
The response was "oh..." So I suggested that as it would appear they are struggling maybe she can do a list of her customers and I will canvass around them - so anyone that she drops to I won't bother but instead consentrate on all the ones she isn't recanvassing
Seemed to fluster the ASM so we'll see what happens
