I've got 150 odd houses and I manage well with 20 brochures, but I tend to put some of the houses/people on a back order brochure that way I dont really mind if I lose some of the old brochures!!0 -

No probs. It depends on how often you can drop and pick up. I could only pick up and drop once a week so I used to order 50 books for 130 houses. If you can pick up and drop every 3/4 days then you'll need less. Remember you'll lose some every drop from people who don't leave them out and then don't answer the door.
If you run out of books this time to canvas your territory, then put the remainder of people on the back book next campaign and carry on like that. Make sure you keep your call book or spreadsheet up to date or you'll get in a right pickle working out who's had what book.0 -

The majority of gift sets that are made up of individual items - the individual products for each gift set come seperately. For example colourtrend gift set, xmas gift set, wrap your own gift set. The bags/baskets that come with them are individual items (obviously the items are all packed in the usual avon boxes) so when the boxes come you have to look at the invoice which gives you a breakdown of what is in each set, and then bag those items together for your customer. I dont know if other people put the sets together for the customer, but i dont, because they may not actually want to use it as a gift set they may just want the items inside.... what i meant before about when avon pack the boxes, is that it would be so much easier if all of the items for the gift sets were in one box, so you didnt have to rummage through them all...
does that make sense? i am really not with it at the moment.DFBX2016 #160 - £3550/£8800

Oh no Cutie, hope you are ok after your fall and not too bruised, and that the house is ok. Hugs hun. xx
thank you. i need lots and lots of hugsi have bruises everywhere, and claw marks as the cat was on my shoulder at the time.... the house is fine, everything just stinks. my clothes, furniture, bed covers, everything!
does anyone have a good remedy for ridding the smell of smoke? i have tried lighting candles, opening every window and door (in the freezing weather), and spraying avon strawb room and linen spray.... still smells. i think i'm going to try febreeze....DFBX2016 #160 - £3550/£8800

Yes that does make sense, i never used to put the colourtrend gift set together, i left it down to the customer as I knew it was a present for christmas! I've got some of the gift sets for men on order so will have to see if they come packaged or if you have to put them together!
Totally agree with you on that one! I had 3 wrap ur own gift sets last campaign and they were spread over all the boxes I had! why not put them all in one box!!0 -
I think I will order 40 -50 books to be on the safe side. How many times do people go to collect the book with they not been in & you left cards? Twice or 3 times.0

I have decided not to continue after this campaign. I am finding it more difficult to get books back despite me only going to people who have ordered and I just dont earn enough money to be going out several days/nights in a row to get them back, when I do there probably isnt an order anyway. I wish I had done better at it but there are several women already doing it, I work part time and have a 13 month old.:(0
