Im ordering the £12.50 sample pack to restock my supplies. The £0 onei
Is good value but has some samples for products that are being discontinued, 60s mod and 50s glam if memory serves (at work so can't check), so I decided to go with the £12.50 one for that reason.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -

Has anyone had any experience of having a table/stall at a ladies night?
I did one with a friend last week and I enjoyed it but I can't say it was successful. We did a tombola with some stock that we have accumulated over the months, but we made little more than enough to cover costs. I got the impression that people wanted to buy things there and then rather than trying to get them to order from a book. A few people looked at our demo stuff and then said that they would order from their usual rep.
We had planned to do another in a couple of weeks, but I think that we may need a different plan of attack! I was thinking of ordering items out of C17 to sell at the event. Only things like the dazzle lip gloss and nail varnish that are £3 and winter warmer shower gel at £1, that way people may buy them as stocking fillers. I am just not sure how much to buy. What does anyone think?0 -

Quidco is a cashback site - https://www.quidco.com
If you buy things online, you should check out a cashback site, as you may earn money for buying online, Vistaprint offer £2.50 for free offers and £10 for a paid for order.

I have done a couple of stalls at shopping afternoons. The last one I did I found that I had a mixture of people wanting to buy stuff on the day and people who wanted to order bits. I was lucky that I had got a few bits through creative ordering and buying bits when they were cheap. I found that I sold bits of makeup, hand creams and shower gels. I always seem to have people who want mascara as well. I am doing another couple soon and have ordered some of the bits from the clearance catalogue to sell on the night. Also have ordered some of the sparkly nail varnishes that are £3 in C17. I find that these have been popular recently and people seem to want to buy them on the night. Hope this helps!
Also, hubby has just received his C17 delivery and we had orders for 5 of the Wrap your own Gift sets. All of the Gold baskets have been received so hopefully Avon have sorted out the stock issue and everyone should receive their baskets!DD1 born May 2002, DD2 born Dec 2005, DS born Dec 2008.
