I was just having a browse on the rep site and noticed this under service news for C17,18 and C1:

Surely this doesn't mean we won't receive the baskets until C2????! That would mean no one receives them in time for Xmas??

I've ordered 6 of these! not really any good without the baskets IMO
Hmmm... I may have a look out for cheap, but nice, gold baskets elsewhere... May not end up making money on those items but better than annoying the few customers I do have!

Hi all,
It seems that most of the people I have managed to speak to have said they don't want to be delivered to and about 5 have said they would like it every 6 months or so! Another close neighbour would like to place a small order...
What would you do from here? I can't see me making MOV from here and OH supports me but thinks I have been lead into thinking we could actually earn something from this! Please help???

It sounds to me (and I am quite new to Avon myself) that this is a case of either over exposure to Avon, or (and perhaps more likely) an unreliable representitive - so when people have perhaps made an initial order, they might not have been happy with the service they received. What does everyone else think?
My advice would be...
- Don't kill yourself by going out so much - every other day is enough!
- Your time is better spent with some tactical marketing
- Package the brochures up well
- Encourage sales with some friendly flyers
For example I always carry some printed notes if they haven't left the brochure out for me, a "new rep" note to introduce yourself; a quick "guide to ordering" for people who are unsure and a monthly newsletter.
ASK IF YOU WOULD LIKE THESE EMAILING!
- I keep a spreadsheet of all the homes I visit (take a jotter out with you)
- make a note of people who loose brochures, have no interest and also those who are more likely to order.
- I am also canvassing for one-off Christmas orders with a friendly note to those people who might just want to see one brochure for crimbo gifts - and not be bothered again! (Men, for example) :rotfl:
Good luck and donlt give up just yet, at least you have a really good area to canvas. They just need to know that you are friendly and reliable.0
