PAC Code Question

Hello!

I've come to the end of my 18 month contract on O2 and have got my PAC Code in anticipation of moving to another network.

My wife is currently on Vodafone and her contract ends in December.

She's had the same phone for 4 years and couldn't wait til December .... so she's just taken up a new contract with T-Mobile and will be taking a new number with T-Mobile. Subsequently I'm gonna cancel O2 and use her Vodafone phone until the contract expires.

So my question is can I port my O2 number over to an existing Vodafone contract?

No, Voda are the only network that only allow you to port in at the start of the contract and no other time. They say it's a tech issue !!

If you were taking out a new contract with Vodafone, you would have a time period of 30 days to transfer a number using a PAC code.

You cannot change a contract number which has only two plus months to run.
