Today has been cold, down to 0 degress
so i had my heating on high this evening. Tomorrow is going into minus figures so the heating will be staying on until the tempertures go back up on Friday. It doesnt seem right trying to survive in temperatures that are too low.
Yes it will cost a few more pounds but i have to draw the line somewhere and its too cold for me to function properly with out proper heating My living room is currently 18 degrees and I will use my electric banket on my bed tonight and will put the heating in my bedroom up to 14
degrees. I dont like teh idea of breathing in cold air all night

Don,t worry about what you look like when you go to bed! Wear a woollen bobble hat to keep your grad and ears warm! They're the only part of your body exposed to a cold room temperature.9

It is frosty and sunny today. My husband and my dog are still in bed so I will air out the house and then put the heating on for an hour or two. I will put it on again after sunset.
I am going to make a couple of draft excluders with tights and newspaper today as I moved the furniture around the other day and I'm noticing where the drafts are coming from. I need them to block off the bathroom and the kitchen doors.
I am wearing an extra long M&S cardigan I got from a charity shop instead of a dressing gown and it is working quite well. I prefer to wear something less bulky than a dressing gown and the layering seems to work. I'm going to look for a couple more this week or next for when I wash this one.9 -

It's well and truly cold now!
I got a 1L thermos jug at tk maxx earlier this year for about £13 and it's surprisingly good at keeping drinks warm, so I'm supping on my third cup of nice hot tea, made by my partner a few hours ago.
If you already have a teapot and cozy or even a regular thermos, it wouldn't be worth it, but if you're currently making tea cup by cup then I can recommend an insulated jug!11 -
Definitely a hot drink in the flask here. We add a bit more ground coffee to the filter to make a second pot of coffee, or top up the teapot with boiling water, to fill the flask. We have a flask when we have our morning mug of tea in bed. We have a bottle brush from the market, and a regular overnight soak with some Oxiclean keeps the flask clean and fresh.7

It was -1 degree and thick fog when I woke up today it cleared for a while then came back again this afternoon. I've had my heating on at 17/18 degrees for the last couple of days as I had a fall on Tuesday afternoon and hurt my ribs and back. I've stayed in my nightie and dressing gown as Im struggling to get dressed comfortably. Stay safe and warm everyone.7
