Is your heating ON or OFF?

Mountain Warehouse has reduced the price of their thermals for Black Friday, and had their men’s oodies reduced to £24.99. I have bought one for our son in law. Any extra layers of clothing help keep warm air close to the body, and oversocks, wrist warmers and a tuck in scarf keep the warmth in. I had my hot water bottle tucked in under my sweatshirt and gilet while the heating was off. I wear a woolly hat indoors too, and have one for bed.8

@SuzeQStan I just found them - I will be ordering a pair for me and a pair for Mum, too, I think! They're very reasonable and they look very nifty.
I've also ordered some replacement slipper boots for me because my last pair split - was absolutely gutted.
@HouseMartin567 and @Nelliegrace I've just ordered 2 pairs of leggings and two tops from Amazon. They're Mountain Warehouse so I'm hopeful they'll be quite comfortable. Definitely worth taking advantage of the BF sale!
We'll be taking advantage tomorrow to throw the radiators for a while. We have to get up really early for a Sunday to do it, since we get 2 hours of 'free' electricity between 7-9am, but maybe that will also get us through tomorrow.
I also decided to dig out the heated airer - it acts like a heater for 10% of the price. And we'll put on the oven to cook the lamb, too, so that'll keep the house lovely and cosy for a while.

Having watched the news I realise that we got away lightly in my shielded spot on the coast!it's was blustery though, which amped up as soon as I hit the esplanade. @Wednesday2000 - be warned! I am bigger in build than the average man and I struggled to resist being blown into the road. I've found that layering up with thermals and also sports vests has helped keep me warm whilst wfh this past week. Fortunately, it looks like the temperature is going to ok k up significantly today and combined with the bluster will be a good day to get both washing and winter planting done.
I'm going away to much warmer climes for a fortnight this week, but if it's anything like as cold as it was this week. when I get back I'll be pulling the salopettes out of storage.
No man is worth crawling on this earth.

i've still had the heating on but haven't used as much gas as recently. Our weather warning is due to end at 9pm tonight, It's stayed dry but it's been blowing a gale all day so I've stayed indoors again. Stay safe everyone.6

Today has been cold, down to 0 degress
so i had my heating on high this evening. Tomorrow is going into minus figures so the heating will be staying on until the tempertures go back up on Friday. It doesnt seem right trying to survive in temperatures that are too low.
Yes it will cost a few more pounds but i have to draw the line somewhere and its too cold for me to function properly with out proper heating My living room is currently 18 degrees and I will use my electric banket on my bed tonight and will put the heating in my bedroom up to 14
degrees. I dont like teh idea of breathing in cold air all night
