CSA What a joke!

Hi,

I just need to rant. CSA have messed up yet again.

Not only have i never recieved payment from my ex regardless of the fact both him and me have constantly sent all informatin ever requested. They have now cost me over £30 in phone bills! I hav I have never recieved a call back hwen they say they will and when i phoned last week (my claim has been waiting to be assessed for a year now) they told me my case has a "Tehnical Error" which meant they couldnt access or assess it for anything up to 6 months!!!!!!!!!!!! I swear to god they are the worst agency ever and i dread to think about the poor people whos ex partners havent been as willing as mine to supply them with wageslips emplyment and address details!!

Oh and they accidently sent him a letter 2 months ago requesting all the stuff he sent in 5 months ago. When he called them they said he didnt have to pay anything as he wasnt employed he explained that he is and always has been employed and they said not to worry as they have no proof!!! !!!!!! is wrong with these people. :mad:

They obviously dont care about anyone especially children!!! I cant believe how disspointed i am in them i thought they were there to help. I was wrong.

My advice - dont ever go through them there a complete waste of time and money and they have no intentions of helping you at all.

Sorry, Rant over i just saw the forum and it brought everything back up. 1 year after i made the request to reassess and ive still never recieved a call or penny from them.

If your case is technically stuck, you can request that it goes "clerical" which *might* speed things up.

Yeah but in order to do that id have to call them back in 2 weeks ......ergo more cost for me!! Im not sure i want to keep wasting money because they cant do their jobs to be honest their supposed to be getting me money for my son not taking it away! But thank you for the reply and advice

If your ex is compliant, why not come to a private agreement using their online calculator? Close the CSA case and agree to something between you?

We originially had that but then he was not paying on time and not paying if i didnt agree to let him have our son the days and times he wanted (which changed regulary). He even said "*new partners name* can pay he earns enough!" It was just too stressfull and i dont want to get into all that again.

Things are different between us now but add money to the mix and its a recepie for disaster which just isnt worth it now.

If you are no longer willing to phone the CSA why dont you email them?

You clearly have access to the internet since you are able to post your csa woes on this forum.

Its worth considering.

You can, however email in a complaint. Maybe this is what he meant? You can email a complaint from a form on their website.
