Well, yesterday didn't exactly go to plan...ended up having 3 asthma attacks, went to docs, put on nebulizer (bliss!!), given steroids and antibiotics to clear up my lungs/sinuses, which are not too great at the moment. Still ended up a spendy day as DH did the shopping and I had to fork out £21.60 for my prescriptions !!!! Had stopped my pre-payment one...might have to invest in one soon as my inhalers also need replacing (stocked up when I last had one :o).

So at home today...had to sleep in the chair last night..but breathing a bit better today...the ten-ton weight has mostly gone from my chest!

Arrgghhhh Keiss, that's awful, hope the steriods and antibiotics start working soon.
    Take care
    ((((hugs))))

Now 48 hours to go till the ship sails for the Zummerzet pirates convention, and lots more crew members signing up.....I suppose Mackintosh Red has a kilt with a skull and crossbones on his sporran? And we will have to beat the army nonsense out of Private Worcester Pearmain, he's a mere deck swab now. Ooer, I hear strange noises from the galley, Igor has been in there since six this morning. I think I saw something small and furry creep in but not creep out again. That can only mean one thing - Igor is now making breakfast. Better go and investigate.....where's the Rennies when you need them?
Absolutely - Mac Red ( to his friends, and there aint many of them, me hearties!) has a pirate reputation to uphold:eek:

    Hi everyone.

Is it too late to join in? I hope not. Yesterday I realised that I had a NSD and in view if that, I didn't want it to be alone! So I am setting myself a target of 6 for the remainder of the month, so 5 more to do.

Today should be another one as I am sat at home nursing a poorly back, so little opportunity to get out.

    Thanks for the motivation everyone.

    Hi tjp70:hello:
Never too late to join us, you're very welcome, as long as you don't mind the highly intellectual conversations we have on here:D:D:D.

Will sign you up later when I do the update, in the meantime, feel free to join in with the chat and ask any questions, there's usually someone around to answer or just have a chat.

Hope your back gets better soon.
    Take care

  • Surely one of the [STRIKE]inane bantoms[/STRIKE] lovely people on here can suggest where I might get a "lookylikey" for a famous orange flavoured liquer? I am trying to recreate a cocktail recipe from my summer holiday and have already obtained a lookylikey Irish cream and coffee liquer - just need the orange one to complete the set. I've already been to Ald! and Nett0 but no luck there.

Well done everyone, aren't we all doing well this month. Any NSD's are better than no NSD's so i think we are doing well!

Today i managed to reach my target of 14 NSD's for the month, but i hope t get quite a few more under my belt before the month ends.
