Was a spend day yesterday, as I bought me and OH a go on the Euro. Looks like I'll still be working though... not won a penny :(

Snap!! :( Spoilt my lovely NSD in the making to buy DH a ticket last night to cheer him up (naff day at work - he's really not happy there but little else about at the moment!)

Nevermind! Still lots more possible October NSDs and who wants millions anyway

Anyway, we're out today so it's a SD but hopefull will be a NSD tomorrow.

Have a lovely weekend everyone x

Well since today was supposed to be a spend day, and I have woken up with a cold it seems like it might be a NSD instead which can only be a good thing. :money:
I was feeling extremely fed up since this is the second cold in the same number of weeks. I always seem to get ill when I'm on antirobotics, and I have lost count of the number of times I have been on them in the last year. They just make me angry.:mad::mad:
I was supposed to be running this morning - I was so looking forward to it, and then my cold ruined it because I couldn't go - but then I got the message that today's run had been cancelled due to staff shortages so every cloud has a silver lining.:rotfl:
I might still go on my motorbike trial ride later on, depending on how I'm feeling and if I've managed to dose myself up enough to feel half human.:D

Aw, feel better soon ashbash11 x

£113million is an obscene amount - not sure I'd know what to do with it all (even after seeing all the family straight - including a trust fund for future descendants - and giving loads to charities)

But I have won a much more manageable fiver on last nights Thunderball ;)

Well, I'm up. And breakfasted (twice), and the dog has been walked (between my breakfasts). I've also managed to find a few more bits I need for today (though not everything). Now I "just" need to shower, get dressed (properly, as opposed to yesterdays running kit which was adequate for the dog walk), pack everything I'm taking into as small a bag as possible, load it into the car, make up my lunch and pull together my snacks (just sorting out what I'm taking for when), pull tea from the freezer (will cook/eat when I come home to feed the dog his evening meal), scan/resize/print some photos and add them to my bag, and wash the pots.

Then I'll hopefully be ready for the off unless I think of anything else that as to be done now rather than when I bob home for the dog - so probably there before mid-day..... doors open at 10 and event starts at 11, so I could be a tad later than they're used to me being rolleyes2.gif

    Good morning everyone -

Just to let you know I won the Euromillions last night - £6.80!

    No begging letters please!:rotfl:

Had a bit of a disaster this morning - OH went to put up the made2measure blind I ordered, only to discover I put in the wrong size and it doesnt fit the window :o- its no use to man nor beast so I've listed on gumtree in the hope of regaining some of the dosh.
Of course, we will need to order another one and the 50% off sale has finished.........I'm feeling rather sheepish:o

Off to the local book festival this afternoon so not sure if I'll make an NSD today as I feel like a latte and a big cake may be needed to cheer myself up ;)

    Have a lovely day everyone:)

you will always be rich enough to be generous.
  • Morning all

Should be another NSD for me today as I'm at home doing various chores! OH's parents are with us for a few days and they are treating us to dinner tonight so no money being spent and no cooking :T

My 1st NSD for October...Long overdue.. at one point I wasn't sure it was ever going to happen...:o

And I have managed to completely pay off a 3rd debt.. not that it is related to the NSD challenge but I just wanted to tell someone, if that makes sense. None of my family/friends know about my huge debt.

Grats on your first NSD & bigger Grats on clearing a debt :T Speaking personally, I'm honoured that you feel comfortable enough to share the news with us & it's a bit like an indulgent secret, similar a sneaky bar of chocolate hiding in your bedside table & only you know it's there :p Unfortunately I don't have the choccie but I'm imagining--will that do?

Store cards are a PITA aren't they Kez :o One time I was "encouraged" to take out a card to get 10% off my purchase--didn't want it but the guy was 'helpful' & took off the discount before sending me upstairs to fill in the paperwork. Anyhoo, it was declined but I was sooooo
 cuz I'd got my whatever-it-was cheaper than I'd planned.

So many poorly peeps to Wish Well & Healthy; I am offering group ((Hugs)) but only from behind the protection of surgical gown & scuba gear :D & hope everyone is rested & ready to take up alms once more. No 6 for me please Spoonicles, when you're ready.
