    2/10
  • No NSD for me again today, DD has a riding lesson on Tuesdays, so like other posters here I am going to make sure that other spends are done on the same day to save unnecessary spends on other days IFSWIM.

This is such a lovely thread - thank you Spoon for the daily updates and messages; they must take ages to do and I really appreciate them. Hopefully tomorrow will be my second NSD as I will be at work for over 12 hours and my tea is already in the SC for tomorrow night.

    Best wishes all

Oooooo, Chris O'Donnell, very nice. David McCallum as well (not Oooooo but Ahhhh, I remember him...) Too old to remember The Man from Uncle but I do (just about) remember Sapphire and Steel. Very strange. Can remember one episode where it had a WWI soldier and "Pack up your troubles...." being sung. Haunted me for years........used to have nightmares about it :o

David McCallum... drool........ Man from Uncle...... I had a huge poster of him when the programme was on

Sapphire and Steel was strange - even more so than The Prisoner (the Patrick McGoohan one not that useless remake:D)

Pah! Major spendy day today! But I knew it was coming the moment I stepped into the doctors waiting room yesterday!

And I can't moan too much 'cos I squeezed in lots of stuff I had to get anyway (will tot it up in my diary in a mo), including a sneaky pressie for that wee thing that happens in a couple of months form now. I can't remember what they call it. No-one's talked of it much. There not been adverts on telly or anything, so you'd be forgiven if you forgot all about it ;).

Btw, I spied a B&M around the corner from me today. I'd never heard of it before I read it here a few days ago! Either I'm blind (scary, 'cos I'm always driving when I pass that particular corner!) or it's just appeared! I'll have to go have a nosey on my next scheduled spend day!

It's just appeared, nicca, that's always my excuse:D:D

Nicca - how is the dressmaking going? I did a class last year and loved it, but don't ever seem to get the time to make anything these days. It's not a cheap hobby either is it?! :o

I'm loving it! Though I'm hardly a natural! Slow and pain staking is the way! Mock-up dress sorted (I've a "hollow" back apparently so everything needs pinned in and adjusted), now the scary bit: cutting the "proper" material! Though I had some very good advice and got some lovely cheaper fabric (it could well become an out of hand hobby given I was looking lustily at cashmere fabric! :o )
Right I am late. Very late since I dropped off the band wagon in June and am only just climbing back on!

Spoon, can you please put me down for 10 this month (going to push myself) and I have one to declare already. Fabulous.

    Thanks!
    KCLT

Come on up, take my hand if you need it... I've been rolling around under the wagon for the last few months too but the kind people here finally had enough of my antics and jiggled around a bit to make some room and hauled me up and now I'm back on board. :D

#3 NSD's today....none tomorrow a have vets and need to pay the ponies rent and buy some cereal! Fingers crossed vets bill comes in under the £140 I've budgeted for this month.

Your ponies charge you rent? Neighgotiate (sorry, I'll grab some evidently much needed sleep!)
