Freethought day 12th, World Food day 16th, how about dressing up as Pirates to celebrate Apple day on the 21st? Lots of possibilities for appley piratey jokes there, I think! I have visions of swarms of NSD pirates raiding the apple orchards - Ar Harr! Give us yer Coxes, yer Worcesters or I'll splice yer Braeburns.....just a thought....(slinks back into the corner)One life - your life - live it!0

errr.... have you been on the cherry vodka this morning Nargle.. or maybe too many e-numbers?:D:D:D
Actually, I love the idea of a piratey day on Apple Day, that could be fun - and it's a Thursday so hopefully peeps who are usually busy at the weekend can join in. That's going in the diary now, I think:D
It's a long wait to the 21st though, I think we deserve a night out before that - ideas anyone? The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

Declaring today as NSD no 2, as going nowhere, and saving up my online orders until tomorrow. Will do a Mr T order today though, (hopefully delivering tomorrow), as payment ony happens on delivery day.
Had a lovely night's sleep...nearly 10 hours!!! Usually I can't sleep for more than 6/7 hours due to the pain in my back, so the new mattress is a winner!!! Still to get used to the height of the mattress, when sitting on the edge, my feet are off the ground!!
Going to book my flights tomorrow to see Dad in Scotland. Going up at the end of this month, staying for a week, can't wait!!:j Getting there and back costs about the same as one tank of fuel...and I need three to get to Dad's and back . I'm travelling at weekends, so I can get DH to take me to and from the airport, so we save on car-parking for a week :T. He is talking about getting a few bits and pieces that we need from I**a on his way home too...sorted!
Right, need to get the bread started and start my online Mr T order.
Have a good day folks, despite the weather...we should be having a clearing out/tidying up day...at least that is the plan!! Nothing started yet though....:o
