  • Good afternoon everyone!

Yesterday was NSD number 15 for me! Woo hoo!

It was even a Profit Day as I sold a couple of items on eBay!

    Good morning everyone!

Clocking in to report that yesterday, unlucky for some but lucky for me, was NSD number 13!

Unfortunately, I spent my whole week's budget on Sunday, so that gave me the motivation to list some of my junk (another man's treasure!) on eBay yesterday - the place has been in need of a clear out for ages and it was starting to look like there was a permenant car boot 'feature' in the sitting room - however, it's taking me ages to list everything ... hopefully I'll get it done over the next couple of days and I'll be able to cross that job off my list!

Have a good day everyone and good luck collecting NSDs!

I'll bet you've already listed more than me! Perhaps I'll just neglect to mention how long I've been trying to ebay!
You and nicca should have a competition, chris, see which one can get rid of the most [STRIKE]junk [/STRIKE]buried treasure during the week, I can keep the score for you on the front page:D:D

Spoony knows me too well :p :rotfl:

I've sold 4 things so far, lost £3.98 by getting the postage wrong, even with attemping the estimator thingy! But have made about £25 (largely due to a pair of branded knee high boots that I never wore :)).

But now there's nothing listed.... Sounds like a challenge :D

Oh yes, and NSD number 10, thank you very much.

You're on! I need the motivation!! Over the last couple of days I've managed to list 10 items/lots - a few of them are job lots, as I want my treasure shifted sooner rather than later, and don't want to be doing hundreds of runs to the post office.

So far I've sold 2 of those items, and I've got 2 more items/job lots to list - hopefully, I'll do that today, because if I don't, I wont get round to it until next week!

Welcome to the club OneStepATaTime - I'm sure Spoon will give you your official welcome you soon!

Good luck collecting more NSDs today everyone - and good luck with listing items on eBay nicca! ;)

Been lurking on the forum for a while but have now braved saying hello :D

Trying really hard to have my first official MSE NSD and i could easily do it if i wasnt craving cigarettes. I decided to quit yesterday as cutting back on everything to get the debt down bar cigarettes just seemed insane!

Off to tie myself to the radiator now... corner shop is only 5 mins away...

    I can do this!!!

Hi OneStepATaTime:hello:and welcome to the NSD challenge, well done for being brave, we're friendly (if slightly insane at times:D).

Good luck with stopping smoking, you can do it. Every time you feel the urge for a ciggy, come and say hello here instead and have a look at the lovely prizes on the front page, wouldn't you rather have a breakdancing skeleton than a ciggy?:D:D:D

Back later to add you to the front page, give yourself a target for the rest of the month, even if it's just a couple of day, that'll give you something to aim for, and you'll get a prize at the end of it.

    Take care

ARGH! While I was having a spendy, I decided to stock up on butter and sugar for an apple and rhubarb crumble...unfortunately I am sans rhubarb atm as the (rather teeny) bunch in Mr S was no only £2.99 but from HOLLAND  I felt insulted for British rhubarb everywhere. So I has cheekily posted a wanted on Freegle to see if anyone has some spare from their garden until I can find some british stuff at a decent price. Rhubarb is not really available in gardens after July/August (leaves die back and oxalic acid from leaves travels into stems...making them inedible), so not surprised you didn't find any British...wonder what the Dutch do to theirs to stop them going over?

Keiss - glad you are feeling a little better today. Where abouts in Scotland are you going? Flying Bristol to Inverness, then bussing it to Wick where dad will pick me up...hope it isn't as cold as it is atm!!!

OH spent 4 1/2 hours in the garden today (he's got some time off work atm) and it looks lovely and tidy, he's planning to tackle the house tomorrow - I feel almost redundant :love:oooh can he come and do mine please!! Not done any tidying with this bug :(.

Only other thing of notable news today is that it was a REALLY BAD day for the heather??? in my car to pack up....thought it was a bit quiet on the way in and when I checked, nada heat :( We seem to be constantly shelling out £ to the garage atm.... Hope its nothing serious or I'll be making do with a hot water bottle in the car this winter :rotfl:Took a while for me to work out you meant heater (thick or what atm!!)...I fancy having a bunch of heather in the car...a lovely smell, but a bit scratchy to sit on!!!

Feeling a bit better again today, had a good sleep, but still get out of breath easily :(. Trying to get things done in chunks today...did an hour of knitting, followed by some sorting out of towels and sheets etc from the hot-cupboard.

Getting DS2 (now on half-term) to sort out his bedroom - he is sleeping in his brother's room atm. The hot-cupboard is in his room so he emptied the contents onto my bed so I could sort it while he sorts out his clothes, getting rid of those that are too cold/worn out.

Now havng a session on the computer before going up to check on DS2 before having lunch...then more knitting. Some ironing should be done this afternoon sometime soon....
    getting organized or what...scary!!

Oh and almost forgot....declaring today as NDS no 11 :j:j

See you later on the Ennessdee (took a while to work this out too...brain a bit fuddled today :o).

I will try to pop on about 5 and get the navigation set up, so if I am a bit late getting back...there won't be a problem getting started. I'll be making tea 6-7...with us eating @ 7 or so...but I'll see what I can do...

    Laters!
