I brought one of those babyliss conical curling wands but I simply cannot get the hang of using it at all. All that happened was I burnt my fingers (even using the glove) and my hair looked a mess! Am probably going to stick it on Ebay as I can’t see me ever getting the hang of it as I’ve tried it a few times now and they’ve all been disastrous.

I’ve brought the Babyliss Curl & press off Ebay but not tried it out yet. Am hoping it is a little easier to use than the conical wand.

    Fairyshazza,

are you making sure you take small sections of hair? and holding them on the wand for long enough?

The very tip isn't heated so I always rest my fingers on that as I can't get on with the wierd 3 fingered glove!

Maybe get someone else to use it onyou so you can see if it curls your hair or not?
