    Hi all

not sure whether I should be posting this or not... but here goes.

I posted on the original thread as I had lots of stuff that was part used, and have been reading occasionally of all your exploits over the year. At the time I thought I would last 6 months except for toothpaste.

Today, I bought some shower gel and body lotion from Body Shop.
In the offer, and also will transplant some into little bottles as I am starting a new job which means staying away from home. There may well be little shampoos and stuff in the hotels, but don't want to chance it.

    So thats 10 months!!!

I too got the Sanctuary gift set (for a bargain £15) , but I think it will make a great xmas pressie - just not sure who for yet! If not, will have to give to hubby to give me for xmas!

And 10 months - result, you go girl! I joined in May and thought my stash would be gone over summer - huh, fat chance, what with hubby working away regularly and bringing me the hotel 'freebies', having a bday last month, and going a bit overboard on Champneys when it was 1/2 price. Still, its not going too bad, and I think come January my resolution will be to relist, carry it with me, and refer to it before buying anything!

Gilligan - well done you - 10 months is brilliant! :T:T:T

One small UU here this morning - an Arm & Hammer advanced Whitening toothpaste. WIBA? Yes - usually find this in Poundland, but if I can get to the 99p stores they do it as well so I may as well save a penny! :D

  • This morning I will finish using up another sachet of Nivea Visage Be Beautiful! Tinted Moisturiser in "Natural".

I've had a PY(T)NS morning, using Revlon Kiwizing which is a metallic mixture of blue and purple. I had to give the bottle a good old shake as the colours had separated but the result looks fine. I don't usually use nail polish much outside of Spring/Summer but I'm still wearing mules with jeans (will have to get OH to go up the loft and get my boots down) and I'm also wearing peep-toe court shoes to work and you can see the nail varnish through sheer tights. I am sort of thinking I might continue to wear varnish through the winter - does anyone else?

Well done to Gilliganstyle - very impressive :T.

I was pleased with myself yesterday as I managed to avoid the Avon book circulating at work :A!

    Evening all,

another uu - have gone through another botle of Tara Smith conditioner - this is my HG condiioner so thankfully have another in he stash so won't need to repurchase yet.

    happy pampering, xx
Which of the conditioners do you use, please? I'm very interested in trying them. I have long, dark blond, naturally wavy but slightly frizzy hair.

Also, where do you buy them from? I can see they're on amazon with free shipping. I was thinking of trying there first as I have a gift card. If they're cheaper elsewhere, though, I'd order elsewhere :)

I tried the Botanics eye makeup remover and was quite impressed. Then I tried the L'oreal gentle one (about £2.49 in Boots!) and was even more impressed so might be worth trying that one next.

Nice idea with the basket, too!

Thanks EH. I must admit first impressions are that the Botanics one seems better at taking eye make up off (the pads are cleaner sooner) but there is a slight tingle. So that L'Oreal one - is it this one?

Hi girls, thought I'd better jump in again before this month draws to and end

Fairly neutral month all round, NO SPENDS at all (been keeping out of the shops and as a matter of course, NEVER go round the toiletries aisle in the supermarket any longer and have been making do with what I've got.)

Haven't replaced my P&P day cream yet this month...just been using a slick of night cream in the day without problem! Skin feels quite moisturised anyway with the almond oil cleansing.

Lined up 6 half empty little bottles and tubes on the bathroom window ledge for DD to use up this weekend and found a couple of new products in her Soap and Glory hatbox for her. She's a terror for abandoning stuff and moving onto new stuff. When I started this Challenge, I promised myself a pared down kit of beautiful products once I'd got rid of the carp. Despite not having a big stash, I feel no closer to this, because I'm constantly following behind DD using up her leftovers . Oh well! MS for me I suppose!

Have a good weekend all and remember now is the time, we are going to be confronted with all these alluring offers and Christmas gift ideas. Keep your heads and be strong!
