Fingers crossed for DS tomorrow Rosemary.

UU a hair dye yesterday, it was a brown shade although the colour has turned out a copper colour.

It does look nice although looked scary when I was blow drying it.

Only 1 small UU for me:
Sample of Olay Total Effects Wake up Wonder. WIBA? No – it was fine, but didn’t moisturise quite as much as I’d like, and just wasn’t anything special.

Also one purchase – this is a little naughty :)
After reading Jacks’ review, I decided I wanted to try Philip Kingsley Elasticizer! And I didn’t just get sample sachets, I bought a tub for £20.99 :rotfl:
Well, all the reviews I could find were pretty good, and I’m quite precious about my hair :P
It arrived on Saturday morning, and I used it both Saturday and Sunday (just to start with, I will only use it twice a week…). Results so far? I think there is an improvement actually! There is no dramatic change (though as a friend said when I showed it to her – ‘why do you need that, your hair’s really good?!’ – I don’t think it’s quite good enough…). But – when drying naturally over the weekend, my hair did get a lot less frizzy, and generally seemed a lot calmer than it normally would. Now I can make my hair look great with a hairdryer and ghd’s, but what I really want is hair that I can just wash and leave to dry, and it looks thick and glossy – and leave the heat tools for when I want a particular style! So far, I’m cautiously optimistic this might help… And I’m very impressed how little is needed, it coats the hair really well!

Give it a couple of weeks and I’ll let you know :)

Rosemary - hope all goes well xx

I was SO good today - hope you lot are VERY proud of me.... I took my mum to town this morning so she could go to the opticians, and went for a wander.

First stop health food shop where i bought a vitamin E oil to try instead of moisturiser (which i have one more fingerful in,so allowed).

then went in BS - tried lots of creams and smells, but didnt buy, despite them having the lemon one that i loved still (and lots of Love Inc which i adore!!!)

then went to HMV and bought a CD - not so good for my finances, but as im almost certain that i have an interview in the next few weeks, i reckon i deserve a treat !!

Followed up with a trip to Beales, had a look at the Benefit stand, but didnt buy.... (and no SA either, so ddint even get any samples (boo)

then I went into Boots. Got a few vouchers, thinking that I might save - but went to investigate everything.... and walked out again without buying anything !!!!

then Wilkinsons for some halloween things to do fancy dress for my horse.

    GO ME !!!! :)

    well done everyone!!
Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup
  • well done all on your willpower!! you definitely all deserve a (non toiletry) treat! :T
