02 changing contract halfway through

Hi all,

I signed to a iphone contract a year ago with 600 mins, unlimited texts and unlimited data. I recieved a text a hour ago telling me that as of tomorrow morning my data will now go down to 500mb and anything over I will be charged.

I phoned 02 and they explained that it was true....and that they were allowed to so this because they gave me 30 days notice. I havent recieved any notice except for the text an hour ago!

Can I get out of my contract due to this change? OIf so, how? O2 explained that the small print of my contract it explained that my data was only promotional and could change as long as I was given 30 days notice. It must of been in small print as I didnt even see this?

Thanks
Danny
