hmmmm... Fake Pandora?

Options
Hi

Just found this listing... wasn't sure I believed the little story on it..

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/genuine-100-Pandora-bead-l-k-/170546515515?pt=UK_Jewellery_Watches_FineJewellery_CA&hash=item27b55d4e3b

So I looked at her feedback and viewed the last item she has received feedback for..... a completely different story:

  • Very tall stories - you just wouldn't. (But unfortunately people do.)
  • Funnily enough i found this Girl earlier when searching for a Xmas gift for a friend and i did it distance nearest 1st and she came up as shes about 2miles away from me..so i actually inboxed her asking where exactly she got the beads from and if they really are real. If she says they are i may ask to collect them, just in case! Will let you knwo what she tells me though!
She has the loaded handbag of someone who camps out and seldom goes home, or who imagines life must be full of emergencies..

The thing that made me even more suspicious is that shes down as being in Gronant..a small village near me in N.Wales, yet she said 'we have been selling them in the shop' and the shop is said to be in Derbyshire..thats a hell of a commute lol. I know she may have moved, but i dug a little deeper and saw the 2 stories..and then took me finger off the buy it now button heh.

I have..i asked her earlier today, as yet no reply..i sent-
Hi, im interested in your beads only im a little
confused..you say in the listing that.
Hello this is a sale for a 100% genuine Pandora
bead. I am selling them because my father ordered
them from a wholesaler thinking they were craft
beads as he owns an arts and crafts shop in
    Derbyshire
yet on the beads you sold a week or so ago you
    say..
This is a sale for a set of two (2) 100% genuine
Pandora beads I purchased a number of these beads
form the Pandora website to give to various family
members as I am no longer in contact with my
family I do not have any one close to give them
    to.
Which makes me suspicious..are they actually real
beads or are they replicas or something? Thanks,
    Laura.

  • Out of interest - what is a pandora bead? What is so special/expensive about them that makes them different from ordinary glass beads? Just curious:D!
  • GOOD FOR YOU, Floralaura. I love a bit of delving! If you weren't doing it, I'm sure I would be. Like a dog with a bone.......:rotfl:

    Keep us posted.

By the way, while I'm here, maybe you could answer me a question. I've only just joined - could you tell me what the "thanks" button is all about please.

Official pandora website does not have either of the designs she has listed, Fizzy & Hearts.
