    It takes 3500 calories to lose a pound in weight. Target 13 lbs weight loss. 18.5lbs lost 2nd May - 28 September.

    has anyone ordered the ones for men and women?
    :jHas saved so much money since joining this forum, thanks to all you kind people out there :j
  • I got ordered all 4-boys, girls, mens and womens. I got the mens and womens on saturday.

    The mens is not bad-got a war dvd, deadliest catch dvd, classical music cd, book on mayor of london and a AA jigsaw, luckly hubby likes the dvd's and for £4 is worth it for them alone, they other stuff will go to work for our charity xmas stall.

    The womens is pretty poor i think-small beach bag, mini carb counter book, AA jigsaw, audio book of the girl with the pearl earring and something else i can't remeber....all of that is going to work as i just won't use any of it. Ah well-lesson learnt. The kids are usually good but i wouldn't bother with the adults again.

  • There are 2 different companies sending these parcels, one on this thread costs £3.35 and is shop4online and the other one costs £4.00 and is on the freebies low spend thread, are the ones you are receiving the £4.00 ones as these seem to be delivered quickly?
  • There is now also a gift pack for grandparents and the picture for that seems alot better than any of the others, but i realise that would only be a teaser and no guarantee that your pack would contain any of those things, but might take a punt at that anyway.
    Just because your paranoid does not mean they are not out to get you ! :rotfl:
  • Also have Daily Telegraph goody bags which cost £4.50 P&P but states these have comparitive price of £25.

    They are at bottom of page and additional bags on page 2.

    I got the mens, womens and grandparents ones last week and they were ok for the money but nothing special! You could probably buy all the stuff for the same price if not less from a local £ store or cheap shop to be honest!

    I've also brought the girls and boys ones but not got them yet! I've brought both the £4.50 ones and the £3.45 ones, I just love the suprise of it!! Last year I just got one of the boys ones and it was brilliant, wish I had got more but it was only really my son that was the right age for it last xmas, but now I have a little girl too its a great excuse to get both!!! We still use most of the stuff from last year like the thomas books and I even sold the dvd I got with it on ebay for £20!! So for me it was definatly worth the money!

    What I got in the bags;

    Grandparents; AA Landscape puzzle in a tube, a trowl, dvd - till the clouds roll by, dvd - treasures of the trust (by the national trust), cd - simply vivaldi (part one of a four disk set!) and a stephen booth book.

    Mens; England apron, sharpes waterloo book, planets dvd (from the discovery channel), the great war dvd and the 60's CD!

    Womens; material bag, AA puzzle (not a very nice picture on it, lots of little wooden boats!), sounds of the summer cd, cardio sculpt dvd and everyone worth knowing book.

    A nice selection of things but not sure how well they would go down as presents for my family, but its always worth a try if you can afford it, its a bit of fun at the end of the day - not knowing when or what the postman will be bringing!
