BT Broadband & BT Vision

We have a BT Line and Broadband and have had a BT Vision box for a few years. I'd like to reduce my line and broadband rental costs but need to know if the Vision box will work with any other broadband provider. We only use it to record programmes/films and to watch freeview. We don't use the pay-to-view or pay-on-demand options.

As far as I know, it won't work as it's all part of your BT deal.

Your other option is to get a Freeview+ box and ditch the Vision box all together.

It won't. If you only use freeview then do as the poster above says and get yourself a Freeview+ box so you can record freeview with no subscription.
