i must be quite lucky when buying clothes on ebay
only bad luck i had was buying a pair of jeans, either the seller misdescribed them as the wrong size or sent the wrong size, i did like them so didnt make a fuss but the seller never even bothered getting back to me to even apologise

I think my earlier post on here has jinxed me. Just received a suit, bought as new with tags.
There is no tag, & the people trying it on in the shop must have been dirty beggars as the back of the neck is filthy with ingrained dirt & a big hitch in the knee of the trousers. i haven't actually looked at the rest of it as that was enough for me.
It was cheap for a wearable item but not for something that looks unwearable, also not worth sending back unless the seller pays the return postage. I will await her response, might be a while as it took her over a week to post it & she didn't respond to my polite, have you posted this yet please?
Do people think that we won't notice something that should be new is very well used?

I sell some used clothing on ebay, but I always launder and iron before listing. I find that ironing is the best way to spot flaws etc. I've been about 80% lucky when I buy bits. I've had a couple of really bobbly bits and also a pair of jeans supposedly excellent condition that seemed to have been worn a lot with lots of fraying at the bottom where they'd rubbed onto the floor. Saying that though I've had some fabulous bargains too, in immaculate condition.

I've never had anyone wash the item of clothing before sending to me.
