Does a cheap ring look 'cheap'

They are rubbish, they look and feel well cheap. Esp the bigger they are! If you cant tell the difference in the two then you shouldnt be allowed a ring0

Hmm... okay - I wonder if above poster is a Jeweller, perchance?0

or just someone determined to be negative about everything!0

my engagement ring is Silver and amethyst - so chosen by OH becuase we spend a lot of time apart and amethyst is his birthstone so i always have a piece of him with me
It cost £27.50 on sale and i love it more than anything - everyone says that its totally me and really unusual and no one has asked me how much it was or if it was cheap ... to be honest, i dont care what they say behind my back, im one of the sentiment followers
Puzzled x0 -

seriously they is no comparison with a CZ and a diamond. A jeweller can tell the difference between diamonds but anyone with eyesight can detect CZ from a diamond EASILY...no point lying0

My friend got engaged last year and her OH bought her a gorgeous CZ and white gold ring from Argos - not huge and flashy but a nice size and I'll put money on it that no-one knows it's not a diamond just from looking at it!0
