Do I Sign Up For 12 Months

My contract is up i have my mac and wonder where to go i am swayed by bt i reason that if i have a problem the isp cannot blame bt an vice versa cost is good etc, but they are looking at 18mth and 12 mth contracts, the way the market is going i do not feel i want to sign up now but want a reliable service. do i
1. go for virgin/zen no contract and wait a while
2. bite the bullet and take out another 12 mth contract

how do you see the isp market going, any big changes coming in.

Personally I doubt if I'd sign up for a lengthy contract at the moment , there's plenty of decent providers out there offering monthly contracts , don't think Virgin is a monthly i.e. you may get charged a fee to leave if you haven't been with them that long.

I am in the process of migrating to UKFSN , £19.99 for up to 8 Mb , 30 GB peak and 300 GB off peak download limits on a monthly contract while I wait a few months to see how Sky settle down.
