First meal planning post for me, this plan started from Friday as I shop on a Thursday.
Fri L- Veg soup D-Turkey curry
Sat L- Squash soup D- Cornish pasty
Sun L- Squash soup D- Roast Pork
Mon L- Squash soup D- Pasta with tomato and basil sauce with garlic bread
Tue L- Veg soup D- Pork stirfry
Wed L- Veg soup D- Shepherds Pie
Thur L- Veg soup D- Breaded fish and chips
Fri L- Tomato soup D- Chicken, mushroom and bacon pie
Above all HM and I am hoping to make some of Wezels no need to knead bread this afternoon to go with the soup. Although I must admit that as I do not have a bread maker it is not very often that I make my own bread.I am playing all of the right notes just not necessarily in the right order.

I've defrosted the freezer, made a list - and now I have a meal plan, am so chuffed:) I always knew it was sensible, and have done one sometimes, but now intend doing it all the time. We shall see!
Sun - Lamb kleftiko (assortment of chops), lemon potatoes (slow cooker), green beans.
Mon - Veggie pie topped with cheesy mash, cauli & broccoli (freezer).
Tues - Spanish chicken, with added spinach from freezer.
Weds - Pasta, ragu from l/over brisket (freezer).
Thurs - Chicken kiev, rice, green beans/peas.
Fri - Sausages, mash, carrots, cabbage, onion gravy.
Haven't got to Saturday. We have OH's boys alternate wkends, and I bought enough sausages at the farm shop in readiness for next weekend. There are 2 pieces of bargain breaded haddock and about 10 fish fingers in the freezer, so could use those but Oh would need something else as he doesn't eat fish.0 -

Hi Mrs Veg Plot,

Friday - L: LO dahl & rice.[STRIKE]spaghetti & meatballs[/STRIKE] (nasty meatballs out of a tin, not as good as proper, but I still like them and they do for an occasional quick tea). 3-bean chilli and garlic bread
... [/QUOTE]
The meatballs can keep for another day, I need to make more room in the freezer and for one thing am sick of the sight of that flipping garlic baguette!
Katholicos, you can do whatever you want. I think there are some other people who post their meal plans just as a list of meals to be had, and don't assign them days, they just have whichever meal from the list they fancy on each particular day.

Thanks!
That would be fine and look forward to stealing some ideas
I assign days just to make it a bit easier, but very often switch things around. In fact, sometimes I end up with a different meal, using the same combo of ingredients or stealing others from a diffferent meal and end up with a good couple of different meals altogether - mine is just a kind of blueprint :cool:Love and compassion to all x0 -

I do something similar... it's all very vague... I swap and mix all the time IF I have the makings in the house!
The point of meal planning is that you don't pop to the shop and spend a fortune! I have until 7th November Planned... I just 'guess' that's that week to give others inspiration... or to get inspiration myself
