I know it's off topic but i really need some help. Carly needs a dolly to help her speech and language and the dolly has to do everything carly does and carly needs to talk about it . We went to sort one out to have a bath with her tonight and every single one she's got has a soft body. Does anyone know of any dollies that are all plastic/ rubber like when i was a child . last century lol. needs to be a baby doll type not a barbie. Thank you so much.

Something like a Tiny Tears doll? That's the name of the one I had when I was ickle :rotfl:

Wifey, hope you feel better soon. Thanks for the info about Purple Cow – i’ve ordered the combo one, from craftsuperstore so hopefully it will come tomorrow when I am home, and I can have a play. Know what you mean about a trimmer. I have a hobbycraft one, and it is crap.

Rainmac – so pleased to hear about your mum, it must be such a relief to know it wasn’t a stroke.

OAP sending you huge hugs for tomorrow, your CP swap card will be posted in the morning.

Rusty – you are brave having 4 kids for tea. Hope your friend is OK. Did you get the email I sent you?

Glad you got home OK PONR with all your stash. Can’t wait to see the photos

Lizalloareds – fab paper bow, did you find it easy to make?

TomsMom – will be thinking of you and your OH tomorrow.

Made another couple of cards tonight, so will bl*g them hopefully tomorrow.

Hugs to everyone that needs them.

    xxx

Ct i think i have the same crap one as you from the same shop. I have about 6 trimmers and don't like any of them . I'm now thinking of getting a x cut guillotine and i can't remember the trimmer but one with lots of different blades . Think it's marg who has one.

I have the purple cows one with the different blades but can't get on with it it takes up far too much space .

    - I think I had a Tiny Tears like Lyndach when I was young (too many years ago :rotfl: ). My youngest GD has loads of dolls, I was going to suggest Baby Annabelle but it looks like you may be sorted now.

OAP Sending you hugs and will be thinking of you tomorrow. I understand exactly how you feel.

Wifey Hope you feel better soon and everything goes ahead on the new date for your op.

Rainmac Good news about your mom.

PONR Welcome back. Can't wait to see photos of your stash.

I managed to make a card this afternoon, wont blog it until I can photograph it tomorrow afternoon when OH is at the hospital. It's for his 1st 'official' birthday following his bone marrow transplant. I don't normally make cards for him 'cos I know he'll give them straight back to me and tell me to re-use the bits. I don't think anyone else will remember it's the first anniversary so I think maybe there wont be any other cards except maybe the transplant unit where he was treated. I just want to tell him well done for getting this far after all the horrendous side effects he endured during his treatment.
  • Toms mum we have 2 annabelles both carly and kaitlyn have one but they have soft bodies and batteries so they can't go in the bath.

Good luck to your oh tomorrow and hope it's good news.
