Wait till they are all scrapping or should I say fighting lol you might change your mind then!!:rotfl:

    emailed you back :D

:rotfl: the worst bit was trying to get 4 children to sleep ... I failed miserably, but their mum and dad got to mine at 8pm so not too bad! I ended up dragging Maddisons matress into Toms bedroom, the 2 girls slept in her matress and the 2 boys top and tailed! :) they were giggling, laughing, whispering and tears a plenty from Maddison cause her other ear was popping!

Rainmac - Fab news about your mum :j I am so happy for you, Do they know what happened?

OAP so sorry to hear about your Nephew :( damn C word, I do think that someone somewhere has to be close to finding a cure :( sending lots of hugs, at least he is no longer suffering :(

    Liza your bow looks fab!

CT - Yes I got your email, sorry I haven't had a chance to reply back, it is half written and still stuck in the draft folder of my iPad, thankyou so much for your help you are a star! xx

Craqftygranny I have a Xcut guillitine and it is pants  Mine is the big one which cuts 12x12, I thought bunbun had a faulty one as it doesn't cut a straight line even if you line it all up, but mine is the same, it cuts on a slight slant! I rarely use mine and always revert back to my handy scalpal and ruler!

Can someone tell me where I can buy dowels from? I might see if a few BBQ sticks will work for what I am trying to do but not sure if I need to buy some dowel. Any ideas?

Rusty Thanks for the feedback i have a fab scalpel so may well stick to that and a ruler then. You can get dowels etc from b n q or other diy shops either pre cut or in long lengths My dad used to buy it for his net curtains as he said wires etc made them droopy.lol

Thankyou I will head to wilkos when I have picked up DD and see if they have them there before heading out to focus I think!! I am excited to try and get these made sooner rather than later ;) My scalpel is a Swann morton one, and OH bought me a BULK pack of blades, but they don't blunt that easy and the blade tends to snap once it is too blunt, even though it is still sharp to cut if you know what I mean.

GEMM - I have put my entry for my bling card on my blog. It is the baby boy card ;)

Ooh you should go - just for the craft shopping!!!!! Pick your airline carefully, either one where you have a 2 case allowance or one that has unlimited weight on hand baggage like I did!!!

    evening

PONR welcome home, and glad you can use the bits I sent.
Rusty think hard about what you wish for:rotfl:
Rainmac such good news about your mum
Wifey ouch you sound rough you need TLC (or new craft stash)
    Willow Happy Birthday
Tomsmum all things crossed for you and OH tomorrow

We are away again tomorrow this time to a "celebration of life" Oh' s lovely nephew died on Monday having battled cancer for 15 months ( 10 months more than the Dr's said) we will be wearing bright clothes and singing happy songs and that is just what he would have wanted... but I want to stamp and shout why can we not cure this damned thing. if we can land on the moon and split the atom why the h*ll cant we stop a cell from mutating into a killer
sorry can I have a cyber cuddle please

A big cyber cuddle for you OAP - so sorry to hear of your loss. It is about time they found a way to prevent cancer. You would think they could remove the cancer gene at birth or later in life for the rest of us. Wouldn't that be fantastic. A celebration of life is a wonderful way to remember your nephew though and bright clothes are so much nicer to wear than the usual sombre black.

I had a lovely sleep last night - I was dog tired all evening and my eyes were all red but I fought it off till the normal bed time and slept until 8am only waking once at 4am. I'm hoping to try to get over the jet lag quickly this time!!
