Flourgirl - oh no - I hope your invites turn up!!!! Glad to hear that you're having a good time - hope the weather stays nice for you.

I posted a pic on my blog of a teddy that I made for Tilly - I really enjoyed doing it - it was quite relaxing!

Morning, well got my wage this morning and it was more than expected my dad said it will be right but I am worried about it. Ok I know I am probally worrying for no reason but I can not help it, one of the girls at work was saying yesterday that the wages are wrong cause she has been told this at B direct. My manager said yesterday that there was nothing wrong with the wages so should I just stop worrying.

Has any one got any nice fairy toppers that they are willing to sell me :-) got some very nice backing papers now so just need that extra bit.

Your very clever, that cushion is really cute!
One step at a time ;)
  • Hubby didn't get the job. They didn't ring to let him know they sent him a letter saying he hadn't been successful but will keep his CV on record, which seems very impersonal when he went for 2 interviews with them.

He has another interview tomorrow so fingers crossed for that one. Otherwise we will have to have a severe tightening of belt!

Sorry to hear that Vic - I agree you'd have thought at that stage a phone call would have been nicer and given him the chance to ask for feedback why he didn't get it. Maybe, he could phone & ask what he could do to improve his chances next time - it'd let them know he was serious. ((Hugs)) & best wishes for tomorrow.

Flourgirl - The worst of it is royal (pain in the a**e) mail don't consider it's lost until it's 15 days late!! Hope by now it's turned up and you don't have to abandon your hols x

Vic / FF so what did I miss... tete a tete on Friday night??? Think I'm really glad facebook is banned at work... sounds like I'd spend a fortune

MadFrog I can't believe your granddaughter is 10 months old already!!

Belated Happy Birthday ZLS and DTB

Mel How are the Xcut Nesties? I'm looking for some but I want a couple of sets and this might be a cheaper alternative... or can anyone point me in the direction of the cheapest spellbinder nesties at the moment?

Flourgirl Noooooooo! I was hoping you were kidding - please tell me your Wedding stationary has turned up!!!

Vic Sorry to hear about your hubby fingers crossed for the next one. That happened to OH and he wrote them an email thanking them for their time and they phoned him a couple of days later and offered him different job that had came up in the company... it might be worth a shot if your OH really wanted to work there.

Well, my dad's surprise party was brilliant, he hadn't a clue. The whole family stayed for the weekend - he was so chuffed.
It's been hectic this week - I've got three card orders for tomorrow, and one for next week so I haven't had time to read or post. I'll hopefully catch up again at the weekend when things quiet down again.

Just dropping in to say hello again going to have to get to crafting soon just not in the mood. Found in pound shop today muffin cases in the shape of tea cups, you get 2 in a box and they come with plastic saucers too. I bought one to give it a go cause I like weird things like that.

So sorry your OH didn't get the job Vic. Is he going to ask for feedback why not? Good luck to him for the next one x

My DS1 was sick in the night :(, he was awake/ up all night - from just after I went to bed at 11pm to 5am this morning . I am cream crackered. He seems better in himself but is lethargic and very tired. Just given him some toast so please keep your fingers crossed for me ;) I am supposed to be cleaning today but b*gger that, I can hardly see straight I am so tired.
