Making cards - Ideas (part 5)

Evening all
A big welcome to Cloudberry,
Been making some cards this afternoon ,been trying to put those large prima flowers on the front ,the ones you kind peeps sent me ,lol.
I have made 2 ,will take pics and put them on my bloggy,homepage thingy later .or tomorrow.
Rusty sorry about the trouble with your calibur[dont even know what that is really,I know its some machine cut out card ,that will do ].hope they fix it for you .
rainmac. sorry about your job ,better luck at the next interview,they must have liked you to recomend you to another school ,so fingers crossed.

Just wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction for buying dies, just want to get an idea of prices before I invest in the big shot. Thanks in advance

Just back from seeing Kungfu panda 2 and a trip to pizza hut with Tom (and hubby) as a little treat while Jack is away (who arrived safely and got through the tunnel no problems - lol) only 2 sleeps till I have to worry about him coming the other way lol . He said he would bring me a french stick home - :eek: I hope he doesnt could you imagine the state of it!!! hmm better than brie I suppose :rotfl:

Welcome to the thread Cloudberry I usually find Cutting Edge Crafts cheapest for dies and their service is excellent, usually next day delivery and postage is free.

Rusty sorry to hear your calibur has broken already at least they are going to replace it for you. I will try to get my card posted off to you tomorrow was going to go to the post office this afternoon but it was pouring down here.

I also meant to say in my last post thanks so much for all your kind welcomes. And thanks very much for those 2 sites. Cutting Edge Crafts has a good deal on the big shot starter kit - has a textured impressions baby set included as well as other bits, but my question is do I need something else like a rubber mat or anything else to use with this in the big shot? SOrry for asking so many questions all the time

ive just updated my blob. I seem to have lost the ability to make comments on it....my mind isn't working at the minute. My MSE challenge card is on there too (2nd one down)
