Its good to be back, we had 10 lovely days away in the caravan with a folk festival in the middle. The weather has been mostly good apart from Sunday when the heavens opened in the morning and never stopped all day. Think rain-mud-more rain, more mud, even more rain= Glastonbury!!! We had a good laugh about it though. Southwell in Nottinghamshire is full of quirky little shops with fab gifts at extortionate prices, think I need to get the sewing machine going again!!
It will take me ages to catch up with everyones blogs so please forgive me if I dont always comment. Love the sound of the new challenge, I will try to enter this one. Craft room is having some new Ikea glass shelves and a nice rack with some of those blue pots hanging for my pens and glues and anything else I can fit in them, then I might just be able to see my desk, wonder how long it will stay tidy lol0 -
Im trying to understand about the challenges you guys do - where can I find out about what it is or could someone tell me? I have been trying to look back over the thread but theres so much info! Also is there a list of peoples blogs? I would love to have a look at them:T baby boy born 01/01/2012 my New Years Day Boy

Cloud berry This is the current MSE challenge, just make your card and let me know where I can see it, either on your blog or post a pic on here.
and Craftygranny keeps the bloglist updated0 -
Rusty sorry you have problems with your calibur. my craftshop warned me not to put the bug folders through my calibur unless I used a wad of card shims instead of the plate. I now have a "Crafty Corner" Adapt-a-board (£12) which is the right thickness to use with bug folders and it works really well.

To see peoples blogs click on their names and it comes up on the list.
If you win the challenge you win a prize......or if you are like me you don't win a prize as random.org never picks your number.......and then you get to set the next challenge and it all starts again!Life is like a box of chocolates..........you always seem to pick the hard ones!0 -

Well...found out this afternoon and I didn't get the jobI missed out to someone who is doing the role at anoher school so I really can't complain (can I?). The head phoned and said I interviewed really well and she would mention me to another school for a similar role if I wanted her too so bad news and good news I guess. It was the first proper job I had applied for so I did pretty well I think
I am fine about not getting the job, would have been lovely but things are rarely straight forward are they?
Flourgirl, lovely to see you back, so glad you had a lovely time:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
Welcome back flourgirl I'd missed you - glad you had a good time apart from Sunday - I think everyone got it. (the rain)
rainmac - so sorry you didn't get the job - it seems a shame that they couldn't have let the person who got it stay where she was! and take you on instead. It'll be good to have a recommendation from the Head under your belt though. ((Hugs))
Rusty - sorry you're having problems with your kit.
Cloudberry - Post 8131 dated 26/5/11 has a list of all our blogs - once you start looking at them you wont have time to have a baby.0 -
Oh Rainmac, I'm sorry you didn't get the job, its their loss, but the interview experience will stand you in good stead for next time and you never know the person who got the job might not settle at that school.0

Thanks OAP, I specifically asked the question when I watched the Demo, and was told they would, otherwise I would have stuck with my cuttlebug! Oysterstamps do clear plates now and are in talks with spellbinders about mass producing them, they will refund postage to send it back so I will just ask them to stick some plates in and I will pay difference.Well...found out this afternoon and I didn't get the jobI missed out to someone who is doing the role at anoher school so I really can't complain (can I?).
