LOL I refuse to take a bigger bag so you can come with me .... mainly because if I take a bigger bag the kids will be in it first!! ... OH's dad and stepmum are having the children for the weekend .... I feel so guilty for leaving them but needs must!!

What is there to feel guilty about, they'll have a great time being spolit by their grandparents. I think a little time apart does everyone good, don't be so hard on yourself and enjoy the trip. I am gutted that you would rather go with your OH than me :p, have you googled for local craft shops yet???

I know but I am a funny one, I dont ask for help with the kids or even babysitters ... it was my choice to have them so I should be with them ... strange eh! ... I would love to go with you, save your pennies we will go next year lol ... not googled craft shops, never even thought to!! ... we were originally thinking of heading somewhere else, and I had persuaded him that there was a craft show in doncaster ... but I would much rather go here! :rotfl: .... right craft shops near windermere ...

Rusty - There are some nice shops though I can't bring any craft shops to mind BUT it's my not so guilty pleasure there's a huge Lakeland (plastics not leather) and they have a super cafe with yummy food. It's not cheap but I guess you are going to be spoiled. It's nice to see things in real life rather than in the catalogue...sorry I'm rambling at the thought of an hour or two in there :o

OAP - thank you for the new challenge

Yoo hoo, thanks for the latest challenge.
Suesad:hello:ooh your little craft space sounds cute feel free to share any photos lol.
Rusty - have a lovely break - I know what you are saying about leaving the kids but sometimes you just need a bit of me time to chill out and re charge - ENJOY!!! Oh, its ok I had saved my digi file to a memory stick BUT I may have had a few saved emails  with digis on that have gone into cyberspace.

Got to go to open evening tonight for eldest's new secondary school omg where has the time gone and he is off to France for the week on Monday - dreading it I know he will be fine but its the going through the tunnel that is worrying me - I wish they were going on a ferry!!!

oap, fab new challenge, thank you x

Marg, I LOVE Lakeland, that's where I like to spend if I don't buy craft stash. Their postage costs are high and I have no shop near me but have been to the Windemere shop and spent an age in there :)

Rusty, I know what you mean cos I'm like you, my boys are not left with babysitters or anything either. You will have a lovely time, Windemere is fab, lots of tea shops ;) x
