Well I survived the party! Brandon had a great time - he gots lots of fab presents! I was a bit worried over how much food to do but it worked out that I had just done enough! Had a lovely visit from my Dad and brother yesterday - I do miss them living so far away - I'm just waiting for my Mum and sister now - they should be arriving in a few ours!

Miss Maid - your card is fantastic - I can't believe its your first - great colours!!!

Rusty - I completely know what you mean about getting new stuff - when OH and I first moved in together a lot of what we had was second hand! Last year we bought our first "new" sofa and it felt great!

Flying-fresian - that's great that you found a craft shop so close to you!

ScattyJan - I hope all your plumbing gets sorted soon!

Gemm - love the xmas card - the embossing and punched border looks fab! Congrats on your win!

Artydoll - your pot of gold is great!!

OAP - lovely card - I really like the check paper and the way you've used 3 images!

    PONR - Safe journey home!

Popkins - Your nappy cakes are gorgeous - I love the blankets that you've used especially the one with the truck carrying the car on, and I love how you've used the white and blue cotton wool - it looks so pretty!

Dawnteabag - I'm glad to hear that your crafting evening went well!

Soma - I hope you're feeling better now!

Bunbun2 - its great to hear from you - great xmas card - love the image!

Karencooke - thanks for the advice - he seems to be a bit better now!

CT19720 - beautiful card - love the pink card candy!

DonnaMarie - sorry I don't think I'm following your blog - could someone send me a link please?

TomsMom so sorry to hear your bad news - sending you hugs!

Tomsmom - Sending you big hugs for you and your oh

Louby - I hope your raffle picks up. I did buy a ticket. Its such a worthy cause, a pound isnt really alot for your friends to spend. If everyone did a pound, it would soon add up.

    Hi all,

Sorry i haven't been around for a couple of days, i went to Blackpool at the weekend, it was great!

When i cam back, i found out i had won the water challenege at Stampin With the Dragon!! I am so chuffed!

Gemm - Well done on winning the challenge on here, and that is a great challenge you have set!

Flying-Fresian - Sorry i didn't manage to enter your challenge.

Louby-Lou - I have donated £2, it's not alot but every little helps. And i have also posted about it on my facebook page, i have alot of mums on mine so hopefully they will help out too.

Melissa - Glad Brandon enjoyed his party!

Miss Maid - your card is brilliant!

    Tomsmom - Thinking of you

Sorry if i have missed anyone out

I will be doing the draw for the secret santa over on Crafty Place tonight at 10pm if anyone still wants to enter. I am having a bit of a dilemma as i don't know if i shoud post the partners on there or send everyone emails of their partners? Anyone got any ideas?
A couple of us have said we think it should be kept secret but there are a couple who have said they don't think it matters.

There is meant to be 50% off some create and craft products in wilkos at the mo but they were all still full price in my local big store so don't make a special trip but if your passing it might be worth a try hth.
I work at Wilko's we haven't got 50% off any of the craft stuff part of my job is to print off the price changes and reductions so I keep an eye out for the craft stuff the only things that have been reduced are the peel offs but they won't show as a reduction as they were a price change if that makes any sense eg they was a £1 a pack now they are 50p a pack.

Sorry I haven't been around for a few days have been reading just not had anything to say really busy with DT work at the moment. Well done to all the winners.

Glad the party went well Melissa.

TomsMom - Sending you and your OH huge hugs, and really hope that the lump they found is nothing too serious.

Craftygranny - hope your cellulitus doesn't come back. I know what a nightmare it is to have, as my mum regularly gets it on her face, and short of being on antibiotics for long periods of time, they have told her there isn't a lot they can do for her.

Great challenge you have set Gemm. Great excuse to make another sparkly card.

Hope Marg is OK, I do remember a while back that she said that she wouldn't be around for a couple of weeks. Not sure if she has gone away though or just busy.

KMS - to be honest I don't mind if you put up a list on CP of swap partners. I would just like an idea of what my partner would like. I'd hate to get something that I thought they may like, but never actually use, so would prefer to get ideas of what they want/need so that I can get something suitable within the budget.
2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family.
It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,000
