You can send the snow to us, we hardly get any.
Hope everyone's ok, not been on all week. Have added a few cards to my 'you know what' over the last week and there are links to my leftover stuff b**g and a nice easy challenge at Cards for Men.
Will pop back later for a better look around.May Grocery Challenge: £127.47/£400

Sorry still not read everything yet had weekend from hell.. will email people later about it ... le sigh
Anyway due to Ebay changing the way they do things and the fact I offer free collection in person, half the people who bought things on Friday accidentally didn't give me postage..what an absolute blooming pain!!
Why did they change it? I find now that I have to really concentrate when I pay for things.. why don't they just offer your first option as default when you pay
like they used to
Le moan, le whinge.....
*goes to bed cursing Ebay* lol
*hugs to those that need them

Morning all. I've been AWOL again and don't think I'll manage to catch up. I hope you'll forgive me. I'm trying to find time to catch up on blogs too but not having an awful lot of success.
OH had some disappointing news at his check up last week and it's kind of knocked us for six. His consultant found a new lump in his neck and his words were 'I'll be disappointed if your lymphoma has returned'. It's not quite a year since his bone marrow transplant - his one year anniversary is on Friday this week - so it's a real blow as he was only told a couple of months ago he can consider himself in remission.
Just in case he gets ill again and has to undergo more treatment, he's trying to finish off one of the outside jobs while the weather is dry. So for the last few days he's been painting the roughcasted garden walls to match the house to finish the garden off. I've been on sole puppy duty so that means two walks a day, both of which can last up to an hour as we go to the beach for her to run around. So bang goes any crafting time I might have. I've got one Christmas card I managed to finish off the other day which I'll try and find time to blog soon.
Not sure if I'll manage to make the birthday/1st anniverysary card OH is expecting. The hospital where he was treated give these patients an "official birthday" on the date of their transplant to signify a second chance of life and he said a couple of weeks ago that he wondered if he'd get any cards. I might have to resort to buying one if I can't get my act together .
Enough of my woes. I hope everyone is OK and that the poorlies are on the mend.
PONR I know you're due home very soon so I hope you have a good flight and don't suffer too much with jet lag when you're home.
ScattyJan Hope they get your heating installed quickly and that it doesn't turn too cold while you're without.
Gemm Well done on your win :T. I'll try to enter your challenge.
Must dash, Poppy is scratching at the door to get out to OH as she can see him painting. I'll take her out for a while. Must wrap up warm though as there's a VERY cold breeze here this morning.
Take care all, hugs all round.0 -
ooh yay I won!! Thankyou Flying fresian!! hmmm, I wonder what to set the next challenge as... OK, it's going to be Bling or glitter! So dig out your gems and stickles
any type of card/project goes as long as it has a bit of bling on it somewhere, I'm a sucker for anything sparkly
will run it for 2 weeks, so until 10pm on 31st October!
Mmm Great challenge Gemma - You've got email too
CG Oh no I hope your cellulitus doesn't come back - really nasty thing. Hugs.
WBR and DTB Sending you both hugs
Rusty BRRRRR Glad I bought boots at the weekend
Myz Sending you hugs and large boots to kick ebay's butt.
TomsMom Sorry about your news - Fingers crossed it's not OHs lymphoma returning. HUGE HUGS to you both.0 -
Myzdamena what a pain and you were so pleased you had sold some bits. I haven't sold on ebay in ages so i didn't know it had changed.
Thank you for the promotion on your facebook about my raffle.
It isn't going too well so i need all the promotion i can get. Even my close pals and family haven't had a go. I don't expect everyone to have a go but if say if all FB friends did i would have at least £95 but as it is i am still some way off the £50 i had hoped for and the products must come to that alone as the no.7 powder is £10 on it's own.
Missed a little craft show this weekend but there is another at the end of the month i am hoping to go to.
There is meant to be 50% off some create and craft products in wilkos at the mo but they were all still full price in my local big store so don't make a special trip but if your passing it might be worth a try hth.:)Mummy to 2 wonderful boysWant to be fit for 30 not fat at 30but i want never gets!!!0
