Hi Twinkle - you can use any cardstock - you just adjust the depth of the blade / speed of cutting. I've not managed to cut tissue paper yet though. You can cut fabric on it as long as it's got wondaweb type stuff on the back to keep it stiff. I've been cutting an old roller blind and that's worked fine. You can also cut fablon - you know the sticky plastic that's patterened on one side.

In addition, you can buy an add-on called deep-cut which alows you to cut thicker materials. I've heard mixed reviews on that. Alsp please note that where it says it can cut chipboard, it means what they call chipboard in America - more like thick cereal boxes in the uk.

I love my expression - have been using it so much of late making things for the summer fair at school that I've moved it down into the kitchen so I can do 2 things at once.

Thankyou Dawnteabag! Thats cleared up a lot for me!! I'm hopefully getting the expression or one of them soon! Thanks for the tip about the chipboard aswell! Your a star!! :T

This week i've ordered the C&C humphrey's corder CD Rom, some items from crafterns companion (primarily humphrey stamps) and some card blands from craftwork cards, all of which I thought would be here by now and none are! I also order some clothes which also haven't around. Maybe my house is in a black hole!! I was looking forward to using them this weekend too, and with it being a bank holiday it's going to be Tuesday before I get them :(

that is so annoying, especially with the longer weekend with longer time to play

Hi :hello: everyone! Hope you all have a good weekend.

twinks I hope you're feeling better soon, OH is getting there slowly. He had an hour with a counsellor but he finds it hard to talk to a stranger about his problems, we come from a generation where it's 'stiff upper lip' and all that.

Our Rusty, hope your toothie is better and the antibiotics are working.

Well, I certainly had a spend yesterday, C & C had a Grand Calibur 'pick of the week' and I managed to get the six dies on special offer, looking forward to playing and using them, Thats me done for the month I thought but then spotted a 'First Edition' pad I hadn't got. Oh dear, I just couldn't resist but luckily these pads go beautifully with the extra LOTV images I got recently.
 Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"!

Afternoon - we braved what looked like awful weather and went to Chatsworth this afternoon DD wasn't too impressed to start off with but was my choice this weekend and I love wandering round old houses hoping that I wouldn't have been a servant :D

My new Sugar Nellies arrived this morning so I sneaked them in when OH went to water his plants.

No crafting done at all - might get some done when he cuts the lawn unless it rains again tomorrow then I'll deffo get some done as I won't feel guilty that he's out sweating his thingys off ;)

In case anyone is looking for a DT spot we're having calls at - I Did it Creations at the mo and Teddy Bo from Tuesday :D

Padster, thankyou so much for the flowers you sent,:A I dont/cant do decoupage the intricate cutting is too much for me so it was such a treat to get them. I have used the yellow/rust ones today and will blog once the glue is set.

I forgot to factor in the bank holiday on Monday so please forgive me those who have your birthdays next week as your cards may not arrive in time.

I treated myself to the Nestie Fleur de Lis Squares today and intend to play whilst OH screams at the footie ref ( why do they do that? don't they know tv sound is not 2 way:rotfl:) so Europa Cup tonight and Scotland / N Ireland tomorrow, that means 3 hours uninterupted crafting plus talking time plus extra time .......

Sending lots of hugs to the folks who are in the dark tunnel just now, I am seeing the light at the end just now and am soooo thankfull.

    Take care :)

Wifey - glad to hear your OH is slowly getting there :) I had to go for the dreaded councilling aswell and its not easy talking to strangers face to face, I'm not convinced it made me feel any better about anything tho. I'm currently waiting on CBT :o heres hoping it helps. I suffer from OCD aswell so they think the CBT might be a positive step for me, its just the getting me there at the moment.

OAP - glad to hear your seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, can be such a comfort :) x

Managed to finish 3 of the 5 cards I set myself to do today :D I really need get myself some card thats going to be better for promarkers though! I've decided to see if I can find and watch some more videos and demonstrations for some more tips. Still haven't tried my blogger today will hopefully try later seeing its well and truely been abandoned of late but it was driving me nuts not working lol

    Twinkle x
