Does anyone know when I can get some decent paper for inserts from, i've never done any inserts for my cards but think they look much more professional with them. I did go look at Asda for the HP stuff but there isn't any at my local

Morning girls. I'm going to work in a tick but last night I read on a blog that if you are still having trouble commenting if you unclick your "stay signed in" box it will work, so I tried it and it did work for me. HTH.

Better go, its bank holiday weekend and people will be panic buying bread and cakes!!

Catch up later. Toodle pip xxx

    Morning folks :D

Thanks to whoever put the tip about unticking the "keep me signed in" box on Blogger, I'm finally in!!

I've posted my MSE Challenge card....it doesn't say good luck on it, but is for a friend who just got a new job, so the thought behind it is for luck. If it doesn't count, let me know.

I have some stash going free....would anyone like a pile of papers? There are some animal-themed ones, and a load of Lawrence Llewellyn Bowen (or however you spell his name!!) Pop a comment here if you're interested :) I'm going to the Post Office on Monday anyway to post my Ebay stuff :D

Hi Twinkle - you can use any cardstock - you just adjust the depth of the blade / speed of cutting. I've not managed to cut tissue paper yet though. You can cut fabric on it as long as it's got wondaweb type stuff on the back to keep it stiff. I've been cutting an old roller blind and that's worked fine. You can also cut fablon - you know the sticky plastic that's patterened on one side.

In addition, you can buy an add-on called deep-cut which alows you to cut thicker materials. I've heard mixed reviews on that. Alsp please note that where it says it can cut chipboard, it means what they call chipboard in America - more like thick cereal boxes in the uk.

I love my expression - have been using it so much of late making things for the summer fair at school that I've moved it down into the kitchen so I can do 2 things at once.
