Thanks craftygranny :-) I'm just popping back with a really quick and probably daft question but you know on nesties they can emboss around the shape you have cut - I've just noticed mine never seem to emboss - do I need something else to do the embossing like a pad thing??? I just use the nesties on the required tab on my big shot to cut???

Ali not sure about a big shot but for the cuttlebug you need a tan mat to emboss them I don't emboss mine that way though I cut the shape and the put it on my desk with cut shape on the top and use a metal ball tool to run round the shape to emboss hth

CT have put a card on my blog for your challenge

sorry I haven't been keeping up with birthdays, I've only just started making cards again after a 2 minth break. Things are very stressful at the moment.

I've been having a play with my aquamarkers tonight, first time they've been out of the box! I will transform them in to cards tomorrow and put them in my special place! Don't know if anyone has seen the freebie here, I got an email about it yesterday.
Life is like a box of chocolates..........you always seem to pick the hard ones!

CT - I have bl*gged my card for your challenge. Sorry to be so last minute, I will get organised one day.

Hope everyone is OK. We've had a lot of rain here in the Midlands and big thunder and lightening storm last night. We went to The Range today and I got a new cutter so hopefully I'll manage to cut my straight lines straighter in future!! I got this one from Purple Cows. If anyone's got one and it's rubbish please tell me now so I can take it back!

Haven't got that exact cutter but have the purple cows one without the rotary cutter bit and love it so much better than the one I had from hobby craft

Ali.b - Dragonllew is right you need a tan mat to emboss with a cuttlebug, I've only just worked out how to do it! :o Think I might try your way Dragonllew - probably easier.

Haven't forgotten that I need to blog my birthday cards but can't bear to take them down yet.

Had an interesting experience with birthday flowers. I sent my SIL a thank you email for the gifts she had sent me and in reply she obliquely mentioned Interflora. I'd not had any flowers from her. Turns out the florist hadn't done the order!! SIL has been on to Interflora and will get her money back but it does make you wonder how many times florists don't deliver and the giver just thinks the recipient is just ungrateful.
