Making cards - Ideas (part 5)

Hello Hello!
Seems like ages since I last posted but I have been popping by to keep up with everyones news.
And I don't feel like such a fraud posting today because I have made 3 cards this week. Just need to find time to blob them now ;-)
Have been on hols with my boy over Easter and it's done me the world of good. Only 3 more weeks and it's school holidays again. Woop Woo!
In the meantime I have 3 more birthday cards to make, 1 wedding card, 1 anniversary card, 20 place cards, 60 orders of service. Hmm - that doesn't sound too relaxing does it. Never mind.
Keep up the good work girlies x0 -
hope everyone has a good day
CT-i have done my first ever challenge card, its out there in cyber space. thanks for extending it as i just couldnt have done it before now as all my stuff was boxed up while decorating0 -
I'll shuffle in quietly as I don't make cards very often but thought I would post them on here
They have a painted background made from teabag tissue paper with a sailing boat that I machined sewed on top.
and this one is fabric that I painted and then stitched a heart on top. What looks like yellow is infact a gold which has a shimmer to it.
What I like about cards is that they can then be used as a picture afterwards so they have a double use.
Will shuffle back out again now.:D0 -

Hello PenniB - saw your lovely cards on the sewing room thread yesterday (where I'm long time lurker - I haven't sewn in years but I've just had my sewing machine mended so am hoping to get cracking soon ) yeah right0 -
I've spent tonight feeling sorry for myself (head cold trying to rear it's head, but I'm beating it back down with copious amounts of Sudafed
), watching Devil Wears Prada and stamping and colouring images.
Hopefully I'll make some more cards tomorrow and will pop them into my murky corner of the internet. It's going to be a blogfest tomorrow I think - I've got three to put on already!
I'm loving my crafty corner, but need to sort out Promarker storage ASAP!0 -

Morning ladies - just popping on to say a quick "hello" before Tilly starts crying! She's still sleeping really well at night - it just means that she's awake most of the day though which doesn't leave me much time to do anything!! I finally managed to nag the b-i-l into bringing my camera back so I've blogged my lovely nappy cake and gorgeous cards if anyone fancies having a look! I'll try and pop back on and attempt to catch up later - hope you all have a great day!

Rusty, so pleased to read that the severe pain has gone but it does take time for the nerve ends to repair. Take things easy, Mrs!
Well done to our winners, that was a smashing card Flourgirl.
