Honeymoons!!!......long weekend in wet and cold Blackpool with mardy friends and non stick from the frying pan stuck to the eggs every breakfast!! turned over in bed and scraped the skin off my elbow on the woodchip wall!!! never been to Blackpool since.......sorry Marg x We still laugh about it 37 years later lol0 -
Rusty - sorry, the line of dots was because it wouldn't let me post just my tangerine additions to your post & I had nothing else to say. I wasn't commenting on your post
Flourgirl - I don't blame you! :rotfl: I rarely go there either although there are some nice bits at North Shore away from the Golden Mile.0 -
My 4 days off seem to have gone way too fast, I spent most of Friday shopping, I don't do weddings at the best of times! Saturday shopping again (!) and gardening (which is a real shock for me!) and Sunday went to the childrens festival at harewood house which was fab.
Today I have made 3, yes 3, cards which have been sent a cyber sapce. All very simple using ready made images and toppers, but sometimes it has to be done! Although the stamped puppy took me two attemps as its got that glossy acents stuff on and the first attempt looked like it had had small fingers stuck in it, although I was told that it was a fly!Life is like a box of chocolates..........you always seem to pick the hard ones!0 -

I'll add my honeymoon to the stories..........mine was 2 nights in a spa hotel in Scarborough 6 months pregnant, we had breakfast in bed on the first morning and the first evening my husband got p***ed and couldn't get up the following day to even come to breakfast!Life is like a box of chocolates..........you always seem to pick the hard ones!0

Hope everyone has had a good bank holiday weekend.
Haven’t been around – just got back from another long weekend at Alton Towers, great weather, but boy was it windy. They put a big screen up though for the royal wedding, so sat a watched that on the grass whilst my OH took the boys on some rides (:D).
My challenge was due to end last night, with a winner picked today, but haven’t read through the thread yet to see if there were any more entries. So far I have:
Flying Fresian
Artydoll
OAP1945
ZLS1984
So if it is OK with every one I’ll run the competition until midnight on Saturday 7th May, and that will give people time to enter, and me time to go back through the thread to see if anyone else entered. I’ll get the kids to choose the winner on Sunday morning.
Wifey – thanks for my prize from the last challenge. I love ribbon, and haven’t worked with lace, so look forward to using it.
I’ll catch up on the thread tomorrow and read back and then comment.
Hugs to all xxx2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family. It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,0000 -
Honeymoon - We got married on a Thursday, then spent a couple of nights in a "hotel" in Tenby. It was like Fawlty Towers. Wedding night - hubby wanted to watch the boxing so he sat downstairs in the residents lounge with two old biddies, until they went to bed, then turned the TV over. Next day, the manager brought us a little tiny portable B&W TV to our room.
We went out for the day, discovered hubby's pay had not been paid in so we had about £5 between us. We got soaked to the skin in a rainstorm, went back to the hotel, to discover they had had a problem and all the water had been turned off.
I heard on the TV earlier that a honeymoon should be about relaxation. If I should ever get married again, I'm going to make sure that's what happens.0
