YAY, Craftygranny has made a card :j I'm hoping to get my sketch card made later, I think I've missed the deadline but am still making it.
Mad-Frog, we didn't find the price of anything too expensive in Iceland except for alcohol and our hotel upgraded us to a bigger suite when they found out it was our honeymoon and they gave us a small watercolour as a present, it is beautiful.
The rugby yesterday was fantastic , our team have made it through to the Heineken cup final which is in a couple of weeks in Cardiff. We're going to try and go, will be expensive but not every day your team gets through to a final
Off to see friends today who have recently moved, sun is still shining. Hope you all have a good day x:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
Thank you ladies for all your kind birthday greetings yesterday. I had some lovely cards and gifts which I'll share and respond too I've fully absorbed them all but a special thank you right now to Rainmac & Flourgirl xxx
I had a fabulous day with succession of visitors from 11am until 5pm then just time to get ready to go out for a celebration meal with friends - my feet didn't touch the floor - dispensing Asti, Tea & Coffee by turns. Today will be very quiet (I hope) 'cos I can't hack that pace every day.
Yay well done Craftygranny.......don't stop now!
Rainmac - I heard the news about your team on the radio this morning - I hope you manage to get to Cardiff (and you win again :j) I loved it when we went to Wembley. You can almost touch the excitement in the air - a sensation that's hard to beat and one you'll always remember.
Zoe - hope you are feeling better today - we are all our own worst critics on our cards.0 -
Artydoll - Thanks for the correction on the flower! It was suppose to say fuschia!
Ali - I havent had the robo long, but its great. The problem is really you need to leave it out, otherwise it gets forgotten about!
Louby - Thats terrible about your mums purse!

Evening all, been AWOL for a couple of days again! not sure where the time is going! Been busy trying to make some cards to stock pile, but all I can seem to make which I am happy with is male cards!! I have got loads of new stash but nothing looks right! Any ideas?
Kids go back to school tomorrow so just busy getting them sorted so we can have a hassle free morning (I wish!) I managed to get an exchange on my cuttlebug so did go for the grand calibur and also exchanged my nesties for some big nesties!! now wondering if it was a good idea as my attempt at a card today looks pants! Also a big thankyou to everyone who voted for the name I chose for the stamp, you probably already know but I won it :j and scatty jan gets a stamp aswell :j
Melissa - What other crafty bits did you buy? I have seen your PM, will reply tomorrow as I need to ask OH how I open up the file from the bank which shows transfers! (I have a new laptop and it is taking some getting used to!)
Saveapenny - you keep popping back and joining in, but I think you should join in even more, would be lovely to have you back here again!! think I can speak for all us *oldies* we miss you!
Wifey - I was tempted by the wizard, but after seeing the demo on sunday, I went for the GC, feels strange using it, but I definately feel it cuts a lot better? not attempted embossing as yet though!
Marg - Happy belated birthday!! I am sorry I am behind, but I promise it is on the way! xx
Rainmac - hope you enjoyed the rugby, how was the crumble? hope you saved some for me!!
Dragonllew - Hope you feel a bit better now after your bug?
Madfrog - Now you have green fingers fancy coming to do mine?? I have 2 old fellas coming tomorrow to tidy mine up I feel they could be there in that jungle quite a while, if I remember I will take some before/after shots!
Louby - sorry to hear someone stole your mums purse, they need their fingers chopping off!!
Just spotted the current challenge, I guess I am too late?? I might still have a go this evening once the monkeys are in bed!
OH and I have fallen in love with a house, and after some digging today we found out the price .... needless to say we shall just keep dreaming, however the thought of a 5 bedroomed house is so lovely!Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
CT - I've just blobbed a card for your challenge - if I'm not too late?....louby-lou-lou wrote: »iv'e been gardening all day too but you can't tell iv'e done anything. There is a right mess out there as i let ds put seeds in and there is compost ever where lol
We went st lucia for our honeymoon and it was heaven. We swam in waterfalls and drank out of a coconut straight from the tree it was bliss.
iv'e had my mum on the phone for about half an hour, someone stole her purse that i had given her for christmas. Thankfully she only had £30 in it.
Louby - sorry I forgot to mention about your Mum's purse before. I can't understand how anyone can pinch something that doesn't belong to them, regardless of how much was in it it's still distressing.
Honeymoons? - 3 days in freezing cold & wet North Wales in December for us and a row on the way home! :rotfl::rotfl: - but we're still together.....0 -
