  • Happy Sunday - hope that everyone’s weekend went well and fingers crossed for good weather for Bank Holiday tomorrow. Nothing much happening here but I have had a nice relaxing time with family. I think DH is plotting his escape tomorrow - he keeps mentioning the weather which is usually a precursor to ‘I think I might take the bike out for a ride’. At least I can spend the day crafting if he does!

    Congratulations to Rusty and ScattyJan

ali.b - hope your son’s sleepover went well and you didn’t have to resort to taking your DH on his own sleepover!!
Wifey - Wow at all that planting, no wonder you were ready for some rest. I enjoyed the wedding too.
louby - well done on your first week on the DT
rainmac - hope you enjoyed the rugby and that your team won
twinkle - will look forward to seeing your latest makes
Georgie - love your latest cards and well done on trying new techniques.

Happy Birthday Marg :bdaycake: sorry your card will be late just needed some finishing touches ;)but will send it off tomorrow

Ali Another one here who recommends Iceland I can confirm that a pint of lager and a glass of wine come to 11 pounds, although before 7pm is happy hour so half price (not that we indulged before seven or anything :p)

Rainmac Crafy Emma and Zoe Bunny are my favourite stores .... note to self must not look until I have actually used some of my recent buys :o

Have been gardening all day, 3 shrubs have died during this winter so OH has dug them up, I have 3 more shrubs to dig up as there seems to be some alien plants mingled amongst them and they look a mess, we broke the spade though today, serves us right buying a value range one I guess

Ali In all seriousness Iceland was cheaper than St Lucia where we went for Christmas, you just have to make sure you have a hotel that does breakfast included, then either (steal some sandwiches ;)) for your lunch or take some crisps, cereal bars with you, honestly except for the price of alcohol I didn't find it too bad

We booked a car in St Lucia for two days two hundred ponds  in Iceland for four days on Rhino car hire one hundred pounds

iv'e been gardening all day too but you can't tell iv'e done anything. There is a right mess out there as i let ds put seeds in and there is compost ever where lol

We went st lucia for our honeymoon and it was heaven. We swam in waterfalls and drank out of a coconut straight from the tree it was bliss.

iv'e had my mum on the phone for about half an hour, someone stole her purse that i had given her for christmas. Thankfully she only had £30 in it.
:)Mummy to 2 wonderful boys :)
Want to be fit for 30 not fat at 30

Hey every one I am being mardy today my ears hurt not the sore throat has returned with the something stuck in your throat feeling and to top all that off I think I have a urine infection :(

Oh well think I will have to do some crafting soon to take my mind of it all.

I managed to get card made from my friend allthough it was far from perfect. Need to find something I am good at, its driving me crazy not liking what I make.
 Wins in 09 = A vodka cocktail kit thing lol, £150 Amazon voucher.

I thought you were talking about the supermarket for a moment.

And thank you CPS for your comments on my card - they are only in the experimental stage as yet, but I've received lots of positive comments on them.

Louby Lou Lou that's disgusting that someone stole your mums purse . If you ring the police they always so oh it'll be addicts they don't seem to care sadly.

CT . Not sure how to say this but i finally made a card it's on my whatsit. First one in months and i did it to fit your challenge though i may be too late lol. My oh was so shocked he wanted to call a doctor . I am sorting slowly through all my stuff and making sure i only keep anything i know i will use as it's all going in my dining space .

Hope everyone has a great bank holiday and some lovely weather.
