My latest experiment is now out there. It's not the most successful experiment I've ever done, but most people don't do their best work on their first try.0

Hi Ladies
Sorry I haven't been around much - life has been completely frantic to say the least. It's been weeks since I last crafted and I've just been posting old cards on my blog.
Work has been stupidly busy and I haven't been getting home until after 7pm then working from home! Then by boss quit a couple of weeks ago so i'm now managing the team which means monitoring emails 24/7 and meeting after meeting. I love my job but it's all rather stressful at the moment so I can't wait until my week off over Easter to chill out and make cards.
I've also booked myself on the Lili of the Valley Colouring Masterclass with Bev Rochester (from http://bevscrafts.blogspot.com/) and a couple of Copic classes with Stamps and Memories. I don't actually own Copics but I figured the techniques would be useful to learn and if I get on with them then can always treat myself with my bonus
Rusty sorry to hear you're in so much pain at the moment but as it's got to the point you've been rushed into hospital hopefully they'll do something sooner rather than later. Melissa I can't believe you're only a few weeks away from meeting Matilda (gorgeous name!). It seems like only yesterday you had Elliot. Better get your bags packed soon though just incase...

Morning everyone - not much going on here really. I've got a midwife appointment at 1.30 and that's about it! Can't believe the kids will be off from school again in a couple of weeks - is anyone else as confused by these new holidays as me???? Mine are off for the first 2 weeks in April, go back on 18th, then they've got the 22nd off (Good Friday), and then Monday 25th (Easter Monday), then the Friday again (royal wedding), then Monday again for May Day. I was talking to DS's teacher and she was saying that apparently from now on regardless of when Easter falls the holidays will always be on the first 2 weeks of April.
Flying_fresian - congrats on your win - fab idea for a challenge, I suppose I'd better start colouring and be brave! Your winning card is lovely and the stamp is so cute!!!
ScattyJan - Great "Alice" card - your colouring is fab - I think I would have got confused over what colours to use, and I love the gold glitter on Alice's watch.
Paddingtondoo - no wonder you were stressed - I think a little spend was thoroughly deserved!
CT19720 - Really pretty favour boxes - I love how you've used the border punch, and your butterflies look really delicate!
Georgiegirl2012 - I think your painting is fantastic - much better than I could do, I love the colours and I really like the flower stamp.
Flourgirl - Gorgeous card, love the flowers (especially the biggest one) and the inside looks fabulous too!!!!!
Lei-Armstrong - I know - my due date was 3 weeks yesterday!!! I think it gets scary at this stage because I know that she'll definately be here within 5 weeks (allowing for me to go 2 weeks over). Glad you like the name - I think OH is set on calling her Tilly all the time!!! I keep buying loads of gorgeous girly clothes for her - I've even got stuff for 12 months plus - there seems to be loads of stuff in the sales at the minute!0 -

AliB What am I missing - what does the Italian manger look like if he's a replacement for the gorgeous Mr Clooney??
Is this him...

MadFrog - If you ever decide you don't like your Mac anymore can I have it PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE. I've wanted one for yeeears! I'm SOOOOOO jealous
Congratulations FlyingFresian I'll email you your blinkie tonight and get one done for your challenge
Padster Bl**dy H*ll that must have been a bit of a shock for you. Hope he's ok (or at least well enough for you to kill him) Shop away (can you get me some stash while your at it :rotfl:) When did you stop smoking... I must've missed it? Good luck
On the subject of stash ban - does a storage unit count... OH treated me yesterday - I think he's fed up with the flat looking like a really messy hobbycraft :rotfl: So I got a mahooosive 7 drawer unit and he even helped me organise it all last night - so I no longer have any excuses (oh and he now realises exactly how much stuff I have - including the stash under the bed oops)
PONR I haven't forgotten about you - OH is still hogging the laptop with his blimmin online game - wish I'd never shown him it now - I will get it out his grubby mits tonight and email you. I think I know how to fix it now.0 -
Hi all, just to let you know in case you don't, Rusty has had an operation on her back over the weekend. She is coming home today. She's very sore but hoping this has done what needed to be done to sort out the pain. Going to take quite a while for her to get back to normal as they've taken some of her spine out - ouch, ouch, ouch!!!
We have sun here too Ali, was freezing this morning but nice now. You put me to shame with your container planting, mine still look sorry for themselves so need to plant some pretty things or some veg seeds a bit later on.
Aaaahhhh George Clooney.... Nope I don't think storage counts as stash PepPop ;-)
Lunch is calling as is putting my feet up and having 30 minute break x:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
rainmac That's fantastic news about Rusty. She must be so relieved she didn't have to wait. Fingers crossed it is a success.
Oh and for letting me off with my cabinet....
This is just for you0 -
pepop - sigh yes thats him please say you think he looks like him lol - yes if George wont return my calls - he'll def do!!0
